Hey. Is there a link to actual measurements and supplies? I'd love to remake this, but it would really help to have a list of supplies and all the measurements listed out.
Nice job! A friend of mine who built a hearse like this chose to make the wheels cosmetic instead of functional. The base is a rectangular folding table. The "cabin" sits atop the table. It has a lip that hides the edges of the table and prevents it from sliding around. The wheels attach to the sides, hiding the legs of the table. The table itself is unmodified, so it's available to function as a table the other 11 months of the year.
For the glass you can use window insulation kits. They have clear plastic that tapes in place. Then warm air shrinks it to get rid of wrinkles. Light weight and fairly cheap.
Totally cool, your attention to detail is phenomenal. And even more fun is your creativity. I personally like the shower curtains well enough, they give the hearse that worn-out, shabby look. In that vein, I'd have used creepy cloth gauze for the curtains to make them look old & tattered, And you absolutely cannot be a hearse driver w/out a top hat, tho' good on her for wearing a mask, you don't want to be giving dead people COVID! Such fun!
hope your arm heals up soon. loved the hearse - when it is seen in it's proper night time setting it looked awesome. the creepy vignette at the start was really spooky...seeing that hand slowly closing the coffin lid was quite eerie
I absolutely love how you made the Old Horse Hurse beautifuly well done and I'm happy to see your anamictronic coffin in action in the hurse I love it it's really epic and I'm sorry to hear about your arm ouch sending you my healing prayers to you
That is so awesome! I don't know if tiny-houses are still a big thing, but a funeral carriage that is actually a tiny-house inside would be the one I would want to live in lol!
I remember seeing them a couple years back at Lowe's or Home Depot. I think that they can be made with time and patience with the right materials and tools. I may have to try making those sometime this next year after I get my big build plans done this year and early next year.
Impressive! I really enjoy your tutorials and how you explain the details in progress as well as mistakes along the way and how to improve on the project. Your work is inspiring! Much respect!
This was an epic build oh my goodness I don't know where you got your horses from but it would be super cool if these were Thestrals! Pretty amazing best Halloween build this year I would use it year round. And I would turn it into my Downton Abbey Hearse to honor The Dowager Countess. Thank you so much for this
Your tutorials are always clear, detailed, easy to follow, and help visualize the end result. My plan is to get a quote for the materials at Home Depot (which, by the way, also sells the wooden wheels). Should the price be reasonable, I will build this myself, although I will likely have difficulty attaching the wheels to the frame. You are a master and thank you for sharing your skills with us!
Very nice! the biggest detail I enjoy is that you have two horses. I did have one horse skeleton many years ago and it always bugged me that I really needed two to make the carriage complete.
I have had a great time watching this project come together. It's a shame about the wheels not supporting the carriage, though. Looking at the picture, I think a great addition to the hearse would be a bit of skirting. Like the foam trim you put around the top, but around the bottom instead. It'd add detail, make the bottom look deeper, and it'd be a good way to help hide and disguise the necessary supports.
One thing I’ve learned to make a square shape more rigid, is you reinforce it with an X shape, from corner to corner - as opposed to parallel or perpendicular braces. Try this next time and you’ll be surprised at how strong this is.
I love it all. I live in Amish country and could prolly find some wheels or a base with wheels, who knows. Fate will decide. But great idea for the wheel build though. Would love to see the coffin hand or what happens in there a bit longer.
This is such a awesome and inspiring video. I was going to build something like this when I did a Halloween display. Never got around it because I didn't have any room to store it.
The hearse came out great. Decorating it will be lots of fun. Suggestions - Craigslist sometimes has plexiglass windows for free. I've seen some that are 60 inches wide. Might not be perfect but if it's free you could make it work. Seen the outdoor brass porch lanterns on CL free too. An outdoor cushion(s) for the driver would help with the look. It's the time of year people start throwing them out and you could paint it or them a nice blood red with florescent trim. Good work.
That looks great! Eduardo, I wish you were conveniently close to where I live. There's a charity around the corner from my house which puts on a haunted house every year (they leave most of it visible, but it's only open during the Halloween season), but they also happen to have a real antique horse-drawn hearse on display. I think you'd have a good time there.
That looks so incredible! So much work. Awesome job. Maybe for the windows you could try that shrink wrap window plastic they sell for insulating your windows in the winter. You use a hair dryer to shrink it and it comes out really smooth and clear. It's inexpensive and it comes with pretty good two-sided tape.
This looks good. I made one just like this. 6ft by 10ft by 4ft But I use pink installation foam board for the entire thing (instead of wood). This makes it super light, water proof and it comes apart in about 10 to 15 pieces like stacking blocks for easy storage. It looks just like yours but I did not use plastic or glass. I just left it open because of all the lights I use in my yard I did not want any reflections obscuring the corpse inside. unfortunately I only have one skeleton horse, but I used that same skeleton driver with cape and top hat,
So glad you found the footage. It turned out great. You could have stayed with plywood for the wheels just would have to cut another circle for each wheel made about 24 1 inch spacers to go around and skin the gap with some veneer. Also could have found some spindles for table legs to use as the mags on the wheels. It would really help add strength to the wheels so that it can support the weight. Appreciate everything you do and was great talking to you yesterday evening.
I can do a mock up video with cardboard and send to you so you can see sort of what I was mentioning in that comment. I will email it to you this evening or tomorrow. I know it would really help support the weight and make them much more rigid so you can move it around.
Great video and awesome setup! Instead of shower curtains, did you think of getting thre 3 mm clear plastic that come in rolls in the paint aisles at a hardware store? I have some that are pretty clear and they don't have the creases in them. Also I wonder if a heat gun on low would help with the creases. Can't help with the opaqueness though.
I think if you just layer the wheels a little thicker with more wood/wood glue and replace the spokes with wood or metal they will work! I think right now they are just too thin of a sheet. You could probably just use scraps and glue them to the inside since it won’t be seen and doesn’t need to look like a smooth circle if that makes sense. Love the build tho it looks so good!!!!!
Wow❣️👍 Great looking, regardless of what didn’t work the way you had hoped. It’ll still amaze the crowds at Halloween. I imagine that you’ll attract quite a few. 😍💀
I would give the Skeleton Driver a Plague Doctor's Mask
I cannot let my kids see this, I will be working nonstop.
Love it.
You are a credit to the Spirits of Halloween and the joy they bring and take.
Wow, thank you!
Ive used those curtains before but i used a steamer to get rid of the lines if that helps!

Would love to see a picture of that. How did your friend make the cabin part? Thank you.
What an awesome build!!! I remember back when you got these horses!!! They look awesome with the hearse!
I think so too!

Hearse is awesome. The zombie horses look so good pulling it.
A lot of work and steps . Awesome 😎.
SOOO KOOOOOLLLLL .
Mike .
Thanks 👍
Congrats on 100k!
Thank you!!
This is beyond incredible 😍 👏 absolutely fantastic 😱😱🙌🙌

You’ve come a long ways Ed.
Your skills are just getting better and better.
Heavy furniture vinyl at Walmart in the sewing section for the glass. A couple large wire spools from light company would do for axles.
I absolutely love how you made the Old Horse Hurse beautifuly well done and I'm happy to see your anamictronic coffin in action in the hurse I love it it's really epic and I'm sorry to hear about your arm ouch sending you my healing prayers to you
Winter window plastic would work using hair dryer. Pretty clear and easy to use.
That is so awesome! I don't know if tiny-houses are still a big thing, but a funeral carriage that is actually a tiny-house inside would be the one I would want to live in lol!
That turned out wicked cool!!! True, the clear shower curtains were a back up plan, but the illusion is awesome. Excellent work!!!
Where did you get your horses?
That was my question as well

Thank you so much! Horses were from Home Depot

@@MonsterTutorials to smooth the windows try a hairdryer. Kinda like when you seal a window with plastic for the winter

The scale of this project is insane, i was amazed to watch you pull this off. Absolutely brilliant

I like the uhuh fingers in the casket mow frame i think
Absolutely love your creepy, spooky, and gross work so cool ❤️. Love your kitty and dogs ❤️.
It turned out great. I like the shower curtain improvisation. Very inspirational for me
Thanks so much! 😊

Very cool 😎😎😎 beautiful work 😁😁😁😁😁
Thank you!!
Instead of hanging the vinyl shower curtains, put them on a simple frame. The tension will help remove the wrinkles and make them clearer.
I love it all. I live in Amish country and could prolly find some wheels or a base with wheels, who knows. Fate will decide. But great idea for the wheel build though. Would love to see the coffin hand or what happens in there a bit longer.
This is absolutely epic and pulled by the most delightful zombie horses -- I remember that unboxing! The fence finials are such a perfect touch!
I believe that is the remarkable display for Halloween 🎃👌 very good design shower curtain works out just as well nice creativity.
Thank you!
This is such a awesome and inspiring video. I was going to build something like this when I did a Halloween display. Never got around it because I didn't have any room to store it.

Go to a place thatakes plastic sheets locally in your area. They are way cheaper than going to home Depot. You can larger acrylic sheets as well.
Despite the short comings you mentioned, this came out very, very nice
This was AWESOME!!!!!! Keep on keeping on.
Thank you! Will do!
You are very skilled and clever! love your creativity!
Those are awesome horses. Have you by chance sat on one of them?
That looks great!

Wow that’s an awesome creepy Halloween prop as always. Thank you so much for sharing 🎃💀🪦🦇
This is my first time watching you but I think you did an awesome job.

Great idea. I used to use that stuff to block the drafts in my rental during my broke college years!
Wow Eduardo! Awesome build!
I love this so much!! Thank you for sharing a great step by step tutorial and keeping it simple.
Looks great, I may try this next year. The only thing different I will try is having 2 back doors. Thanks for sharing
You are amazing! That Halloween Hearse is awesome! I ❤❤❤ it!

Thanks for the tips Nathan because I still have no idea how to make those wheels. Yeah, it was nice chatting with you. Cheers, Eduardo

Clever way to make the curved part. 😊
Amazing project! 💀👍🏻
I hope your arm will heal well and fast.
Great video and awesome setup!

Very creative. Awesome work.
Wow! That is amazing, well done!
I’m not into Halloween but I like watching your tutorials because of your creativity art gift ☺️ you’re amazing
It was great! Looks really good with the horses. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Have you tried warming the folds/creases on the plastic shower curtains with a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting?
I was wondering this as well.
Fabulous. Love it.
Awesome! Dang, I wish you lived on my block! But great to see your videos nonetheless! Coolest yard ever!
Badass build!
I love that and those horses are awesome. I could never find anything like that. Great job
