I like to disguise my flame bulbs by sponging watered down paint inside the glass enclosure. I used matte clear acylic medium mixed with white/ grey for a salt stained or dusty look, black for soot, and brown for rust stains and dirt. Much easier to control than spray paint and comes right off with water but usually stays on once installed in the lamp.
I made a mini one of these last year but i used a weaved garden fabric and a plastic skeleton. I then painted it with a 50/50 mix of cheap grey paint and tile adhesive/grout. This waterproofed the statue and gave it a stone appearance, bit of dry wiping with white paint to give depth. I never thought to do led eyes though...
You need to make an hour long video with this reaper for an Ambient Halloween setting with haunting music or sound effects. Just take ten minute video or so and repeat it.
Wow, amazing! I liked how you show us how to do this step🎃by step! Im not great doing it but love to try and make it look liked yours. This one I love it! Keep up the good scary work! And thank you!
Yes I really did enjoy this video. The prop looks amazing!! I truly appreciate the fact that you give such details. You make it feel very possible for a beginner to create something wonderful!! Please do show us the solar conversion! Thanks for all the time you spend to help us have more fun👻💚👻💚
I used some of the methods in various videos of yours to make my costume this year. I am very happy with how it turned out, so I just wanted to drop by and say thank you for sharing what you do!
This really really is amazing! Last year I made your creepy book with a glass eye and flickering light behind it. Came out looking amazing! Your tutorials are always fun and engaging, and your results are awesome! We are absolutely going to be making this next Halloween!!
@@KrazeeKraftZ I’m making this from pvc pipe and I’m gonna just take it apart after Halloween. My shed is full with half Halloween and half Christmas (with a few other holidays in one corner).
Must admit you think outside of the box and do a great job at explaining things . Just a little thought again look around for a old hay cutting tool ,I know what it is but my spelling is not working to well lol. That give it a more spooky look.
Great prop!! And the more it’s used the better it will look… Some moss around the bottom and weathering will only add to your creation💀 “ It’s alive!!!!! It’s alive!!!!🎃
I made two of these bad boys, about 8 ft tall each (ominous height is important). Took a heat gun to some milk jugs (over a skull from Michael's) to create the faces. Then I mounted a flame LED on the inside to shine through the face. The kids and parents loved them.
Hey, brother! I followed your tutorial and it came out fantastic! I used the wooden caps from 2 large Cholula hot sauce bottles for arm spacers! It was a big hit in our cul de sac. Thanks!!!
You are right, fantastic work brother. I would love to build one, but I would have to figure out how to make one that could be broken down, storage space around here is at a premium. The blue back lighting looked extra creepy when the fog crossed behind the Reaper.
Turned out great, not going to make one this year but if I do in the future I think I want it eight feet tall to look more menacing. I would also paint the wood if it wasn't treated lumber.
That paint sprayer doesn’t need a compressor? If not, I’ll have to add it to my easy diy tools list! I’m gonna have my reaper standing (maybe over hot coals) in my graveyard with a green light glowing.
This was awesome! Is there another option you could suggest instead of using chicken wire? I want to do something similar but I hate working with chicken wire
Very spooky. Would the ratio change the size of the head and neck length? Just wondered. Love the lantern with the flickering solar. Didn't know they made them.
I'm planning of making something like this for my building entrance ( outdoors) since I'm from Sweden here is quite cold and wet, any recommendation to make it ' stiff/hard' instead of only fabric? I thought of spraying many thin layers of cement but it would break easily with the weight of snow.. any help appreciated!!
I totally want to see the lantern conversion.
😊👍

@@jp040759 assume you mean ditto, lol, as in repeat, not the singer!! Just in case you're interested!

I’m about to bring this to life in 2024. I hope it all goes smooth. Thank you for sharing. You are very talented.🎉❤
Me too. We got this! Amazing tutorial 💖
Same here! Just bought some supplies today! Very exciting! 😊

That's a good idea. I've mostly used school glue to glaze them and then black spray paint for the soot.
That turned out amazing. It looks just as creepy in the full daylight. Way better than anything you could buy .
This is phenomenal! I would definitely love to see the lamp conversion 😊
I'd really like to see the conversion too please 🙏...thank you in advance 🤗
Me 10 times also. LOL.
NOW THAT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱☠☠☠☠☠💀💀💀

Just made this reaper today. Turned out way better than expected! Thanks for the tutorial and keep them coming!!🤘🏼
Add the red LED eyes please, maybe cut down the amount of fog coming out of the head and divert some fog to come out around his feet too
your best public work ever
I made a taller version of this over the weekend - thanks so much for the tutorial!

Great video! Just a heads up, 1'5'" and 1'7" is 3'

I'm guessing people come from miles away to see your house on Halloween.
Tombstones would make a great edition to go with the Ghost Reaper good job its very well done 👍
Awww 3 days before Halloween and I want to build more THINGS!!!!!
Would you be worried about it the cloth moving to much due to wind etc? Im concerned the wind would not make it look as lifelike.
I love it. I love people showing their creativity!
You are amazing great job. I would love to see a warewolf
Fantastic video.... Your Reaper turned out awesome. A video converting the solar light to an electric one would be great, and thank you .

Great job… now if I only had a yard to put one in!!! Enjoy!

A GREAT Project! I LOVE it! I have no room to store right now, so this will be a project for next year!!

Did you ever make the lantern conversion video?

Magnifique vidéo,Tito très explicite
Bravo 👌👍
He looks amazing!
Well done. But the smoke coming out of the head makes no sense to me. Just add some glowing eyes and use the fog on the ground.
I think it would make more sense if it was rolling out and down.
Love him and your talents
Awesome. Just found your channel again.
I need to see the lamp conversion please.
Nice work! Have you got a link to the solar flame effect lamps?
