I've been sitting in my office watching this with a mug of coffee just mumbling "Man, that looks SO GOOD" to myself for about an hour. This is a killer project!
A friend and I were planning on doing a coffin with a dead, staked vampire in it this year. We were looking for a cheap way to make a coffin and to my surprise, I wake up to a new video from you. As always, extremely helpful. Love your videos.
You can buy inexpensive wood too. It justdepebds onhow sturdy you needit thisone s prob teallygoodifits just going to sit somewhere. Awesome job on it btw
I really appreciate people who figure out things to make for Halloween (and Christmas). It makes it easier for those of us who have too many other things on our minds to figure it out. Lol
You are so funny. Thank you so much for all the tutorials. Had to get a new job during the covid mess and less pay. As a grown adult, I now find it harder paying bills, so saving money by making some of my own props is really cool. Plus I know that they'll last longer 'cause I made them myself. Please keep making more. I am subscribing.
Cool! Glad I found this. I mentioned a false bottom casket in your last live. I am glad to find this alternative build. We used a refrigerator box, and scrap wood, for supports (1x2, 4x4, what we had on hand). And of coarse a false bottom and hole for a person' hand, underneath, with candy bowl inside. We did a candy bowl at entrance for the kids and no scare. Love this method!!!!!
This is a project for listening to an audio-book, maybe a couple of them. I would be practicing the techniques of scraps for several days before actually starting to try to make it look like wood on the actual pieces. It's a nice build that is fairly inexpensive. Thanks.
I thought the way you did the beginning was absolutely awesome you are awesome in everything you do and I can't believe that is not real wood that actually look like really heavy real wood
Excellent! I used this exact method to "reside" the front of my house about 5 years ago using about 10 of the 1 inch 4 x 8 boards; they piece together like a puzzle. Took me FOREVER to burn in the grain, but it was so worth it. We have since moved, and I had to cut it to fit our new house. It is easy to put up, store and holds up well. High impact prop!
Brilliant job the whole thing - your skit, the construction, creating the wood grain effect, and the super-effective paint job to finish, top marks :-)
LOVE all of your videos and the Intros are the best. You have given my wife and I such great ideas as Halloween is our favorite Holiday of the year! Keep up all the great work.
Very awesome! You did an amazing job on this project big thumbs up. Love the detail you carved into the foam. So excited to see the hearse take shape. Thank you for posting all your videos we love them. 😁👍
Personally I love cinematic intros like that! The quality of your camera work and editing in this video, all around, is great. Looking forward to more spooky content going into October! 🎃
Awesome job on the coffin Eduardo! The skit was great! Probably the best looking foam coffin I've seen! Thanks for always raising the bar and teaching the Prop Mob new tricks!
Your coffin came out fantastic! Your tutorials are great (and funny!) Thanks for sharing your techniques. I'm very inspired to build some of your projects. Keep creating!
This prop looks awesome... you really perfected the old sawed realistic wood grain. You are a good teacher, the techniques how to assemble and carve the foam and how to achieve different effects (and what not to do) are very helpful for making props out of foam.
Absolutely fantastic !!! Love every bit of it ... the detail is incredible... watched every second of the video and just wish I had a space big enough to recreate it xxxx 🙌🙌🙌🙌 fantastic work !!!
Personally I think the intro was awesome
Same! It was great!
@Alden Rodney No. Begone, spammer.
I really just can't believe how real the wood looks.
I really like the skit, gives background to the build
I've been sitting in my office watching this with a mug of coffee just mumbling "Man, that looks SO GOOD" to myself for about an hour. This is a killer project!

First off, the intro is awesome. Second, the coffin turned out awesome. I can't wait to make one of my own.

it looks incredibly real wow. every time you did something and were gonna do something next I was like "but how it already looks sooo good"
Its crazy the amount of time and effort is put into a piece that can break so easily or blow away

Man you did an absolute amazing job on that detailing that wood grain in. Your Video's is Awesome.
Spray foam is another option for bonding Styrofoam to each other. Probably too messy for this job, but for larger pieces it works well.
I LOVED the intro!!! It cracked me up!!!
