No Laying Up covers LPGA and and Korn Ferry events in detail, which already distinguishes them from most other golf outlets.
But what makes them a class above is that they don't do it for some sort of clout - they do it because they genuinely care about the game of golf at all levels and want it to succeed. I have so much respect for that and it really makes me put NLU in a different class than any other golf outlet out there.
As someone who, in all honesty, would never normally care about the LPGA, this makes me want to tune in and see how Madelene does. And I really doubt that I'm the only one who feels that way.
You can tell they actually fucking care and aren't doing it because they feel like they'll get something out of it. That makes a difference and is really fucking cool.
My thoughts exactly - the only way you put the time & effort to create something as good as this, when it won't get nearly as many views as some other outlets, is that you are driven by something deeper (which it always feels that they are)
Man DJ is an absolute 🐐 his editing is unreal such a phenomenal story teller
Best move NLU has ever made was hiring DJ and hats off to them for recognizing the talent/what they needed

This was so stupidly good. In a world where golf youtubers are filming one round and squeezing three to four postings out of it, what possessed you guys to pour this much time and effort into something that frankly wasn’t guaranteed to get clicks?? Whoever pushed internally to get this made, kudos to you. This was equal parts humanity and golf, and that’s just not an easy thing to do. This is easily the best original content I’ve consumed on RUclips. I’ll be checking lpga leaderboards way more often now, and looking for Madelene, hopefully above that cut line. NLU will be to Madelene what Tom Coyne was to Carne.

Thank you for making something that was not about as much about the result as it was about the person who makes it happen. She has overcome something and risen above it so far and that takes bravery and courage beyond recognition. I love how positive she is regardless of the situation. Cried my eyes out and I’m not ashamed to admit it. What a inspiration Madelene Sagström is to young people to follow your dream and never give up. Speaking out about abuse and hopefully giving other people the confidence to be able to speak up about their own abuse. Very powerful documentary guys amazing work 👍. I cried watching this but it was because I felt so proud and happy watching someone overcome a traumatic experience and absolutely crush life 🏌🏻♀️ so cool

Watching the masters last week with my 5 year old daughter she asked "but where are all the girls?" Now I get to show her how good women's golf can be, and in an even better setting than a simple highlights package. I am saving this to watch with her and can't wait for more episodes.

That was just so good on every level. I knew very little about Sagstrom prior to watching this video, now she's on my "fav" list when I track golfers scores.
I now have a 2nd favorite LPGA golfer. Of course I have to go with my fellow Canadian Brooke as my favorite. I would love to see Brooke do one of these behind the scenes RUclips videos with her sister. Great video!

Just spectacular "cinematography" and film/documentary/podcast overall. Watched a few times already. It's really great. Madelene is way cool and likable. Her swing looks awesome in part because it's a great swing and probably because she's relatively taller. The insights and details about what she has to do and especially the planning/strategies are fascinating. The colors, sceneries, courses/holes are amazing. All of it make you appreciate golf and want to go out and play. Thank you all for making and sharing.

Seeing tournament play via the shots that DJ composed was spectacular. I get that it’s not a 1:1 comparison but it’s amazing that they’re not capable of or not trying to bring some of these vantage points to golf on TV.
Separately, Madeline really shines and man what a beautiful swing that is.
