    Imagine the size these beasts got to when commercial and sport fishing didn’t exist. Probably safe to say at least double the size of anything we’ve seen thus far.

    I've done this many times except we take the fins and head off with a saw. Then hang the fish from the tail remove guts, make incisions and cuts the down the spine front and back skin totally then remove the slabs meat. So much quicker and easier then this method but you do the best with what you've got I guess.

    很多人問,為什麼在地上殺,我來不負責任解說一下。
    1.太長太重,影片中這隻約250-300公斤,3-4公尺,要幾個人扛上桌,還是特定叫一臺起重機撐上桌?
    2.旗魚的魚骨,魚鰭奇硬無比,放在桌上處理不好出力。
    3 .放在地上只是觀感不好,其實一般我們吃的生魚片都在內層,外面接觸地上的魚皮和皮下組織是不會當成生魚片的。

See pollution in water can get into marine life. plankton absorbs it, then get eaten by a small fish, then get eaten by a bigger fish until it reaches the marlin who eats a lot of fish who also have the toxic metals. You can't remove the metals btw, its embedded in the fish.

    Как человек работавший много лет с разделкой туш,скажу ! Разделывать тушу в таких перчатках (одна рука голая вообще) это очень опрометчиво
    Несколько раз на видео видно как он укоЛОЛся ( гниение ,заражение это то что тебя ждет если не защищать руки

      Right tool for the right job. Heavy chopper for cutting the hard bits, thinner slicer for meat cuts

      They probably waste nothing and the average person probably eats a quarter of the average American. Just guessing there isn't a country with half the amount of food challenges in their restaurants as here. I love America, but portion control isn't our strong suit.

    I don’t get it really....Marlin. It doesn’t taste of much at all. I’ve had it in a few countries. Rather have Cod any day, or haddock, although my favourite is fresh water fish Grayling. Serve it cold with a bit of vinegar and it lovely with a Salad.

      We indians have a thing called manjal which they make into a paste and apply it on the fish after cutting
      This manjal paste kills bacteria and prevents it from forming again

      Exactly. This is why factories exist with machines to make exact cuts on fish. Use hydraulic pressure to make the exact cut.
