Irelands Lineout: competent or inaccurate? Test 2 Review

This video looks at Ireland's Lineout v New Zealand in the 2nd Test v New Zealand 2022. There has been a lot of criticism pointed in the direction of the set piece but there are signs of improvement.

For most of Irelands throws the hooker had his feet inside the field of play. The ball should have been turned.over to NZ for option. Law 18.22. The throw was illegal therefore everything that occured after that was irrelevant.

It's been happening for years. A lot of throwers get away with it. Like any of the laws, open to interpretation but could be enforced more?!
