The visualization for Astarte is one of the most unique I ever seen, all this time I thought the scientist and gene-engineers that worked with The Emperor in The Great Crusade were just a simple human with labcoats, but you show Astarte as this Battle-hardened Warlord of Terra who knows survived through the entire apocalyptic Age of Strive, befitting as a creator of one of the mankind's biggest project. Really loved the deep dive of ancient Terra, it shows how tragic is the fall of mankind...

Well she was right. 'Her death marked not just the end of her story but the dawn of a new era, what was then the inevitable Horus Heresy and the downfall of mankind's greatness.' -the project could have been restarted if it wasn't for the Emperor's ego.
Which is terrible writing. It amounts to: “This character, who totally founded the Astartes, was the best ever and when she died the Emperor’s ego ruined everything.”
I feel like GW's compulsive need to take away all of the accomplishments of the Emperor stems from their current "No, really! You don't get it! Once again another Warhammer video that isn't like three hours long. THANK YOU!!!
Honestly I don't know how they do hour long videos, 5 minute videos take about 5 hours straight of editing for me 😂
Short stuff is nice, but to be fair short stuff usually leave a lot of stuff out.
So she was born during Age of Strife and lived 800 years through unification. Got it
@@roostercogburn8700 to be fair to GW she was a genetic scientist who created immortal beings. not Farfetched to think she lived longer than most
Basilio Fo is another genetic scientist who extended his life span during and past Age of Strife. Possible into current 41k
Wasnt Fo like 5000 years old lol?@timcusack9388

Brings a certain name to mind... Dr. Catherine Halsey... the mother of Spartan project...
Interesting observation!
She may have quite possibly been corrupted by the Changer of Ways. The Imperium will never know.

This seems like shoe horned lore to appease tourists on Twitter.
Really enjoy your videos!
I appreciate that!
Maybe, down the line, you could do videos on the more obscure campaigns of the Great Crusade -- like the ones only mentioned in Codexes.
Indeed I will!
