King K Rool is insanely good. Two moves that bury opponents, an insanely good recovery, hard to launch, powerful and his aerial game is sick.

I was about to make a similar post. Lol its K.Rool getting revenge on the other Nintendo characters that made it in before him since Melee.
My headcanon is that he decided to not show up in any DKC games for the past Decade so that he could train to get ready for his inevitable appearance in Smash.

yaz 000 no they don’t. It’s called ‘playing tactically’. Every character has a combo that can be god like if practiced enough. That’s the case with King K. Rool. It’s only good if you know how to use it. Besides, we need a top tier heavy. The king deserves to be good, so just leave him alone.
Misfortune Rising what your missing is that this combo GRANTS him a free stock because it plants you in the ground, the only other character to have something like that is rob but rob isnt a heavy and can kill me quick asf,

EthaNGold Yeah, if people use his superarmor moves too frequently then his belly armor cracks and you go into shield stun animation, as sort of a balance. But those are only noob players, this guy and a few others know when to use his multiple superarmor moves effectively. For the most part.

Man i'm so down to play this game! King K Rool was one of the character i wanted so much to be in smash. I have a ps4 and doesn't even have enough time to play everything i want. I think i'll buy it when nintendo will release a new version of the switch, hopefully this year.

Which heavy's are bad in this game, curiously? I think this is THE best smash game for heavies. They ALL got some crazy love.
To a croc this big, anything that ventures near a watering hole is a potential meal.
Legit the only problem I’ve got with K Rool is how insanely punishable up air is. It’s strong but it has an absolutely absurd amount of end lag. Other than that he’s absolutely incredible, probably my favourite character to play as in ultimate so far!

Majora's Minion actually his up b can do a bayonetta and kill off the top if the percenta are right. i almost killed a k rool in training mode from an up throw to the top platform to up b (not a true combo tho) with the k rool starting at only 15 percent
You want absurd end lag? Try Snake's forward smash. And if you want slow moves in a fast paced game then look no further than Simon Belmont.

The game has been out 3 days. Any balance changes before next year are going to be way too fucking early to have let people even try to have found counterplay.

This guy is my new main. Like, he just pulls a propeller outta his butt and he’s like, “Not yet, idiots!” For his recovery. His neutral special, Blunderbuss, is op, because first, you yeet them of the edge by shooting you’re cannonball, then you beat them by sucking them in as they recover, then jump off, shoot them at the side of the stage, then meteor. And remember what I said, this guys recovery is unstoppable, so you can risk going as far down as you want if you’re ready to pull a quick Up Special.
Can’t wait to main him,Ridley,inkling,Piranha Plant,And Incineroar to destroy everyone online

Heavy with a villager tier recovery, sheik tier speed, bowser tier attack power, with super armor and two burying attacks, this is a damn good heavy

@@filthymememan5456 But his recovery is even better than villager's. They both go very, very far, but you can't hit King K Rool from the top of his recovery because the rotor does damage. He has a PROTECTED RECOVERY that goes insanely far. Easily the best recovery in the game, in my opinion.
