Definitely a song about police brutality. Keep that in mind while reading the lyrics and I'm sure it will click. Also, this song is called III because it's part three of their Badge & A Bullet series of songs. The first part is on their album Anonymous and the second part is on their album Subliminal Criminals. SFTP is always speaking truth to power and I'm here for it! Probably my favorite video they've ever made. It's funny, but also very dark and real.
I appreciate this so much! I had a feeling that what is was about but I didn’t want to assume. I’ll have to go back and listen to those songs! I appreciate you so much!
@@ChandlerBurtonEntertainment You're welcome! I love helping to give people perspective on songs and kudos for not wanting to make any assumptions beforehand about the subject matter. As someone else said, Stray From The Path is basically modern day Rage Against The Machine at this point so it's usually safe to assume they're talking about sociopolitical issues majority of the time. Can't wait for the new album to drop!
@@DJENTISNTNOTAGENRE "If you like Rage Against the Machine you'll dig Stray from the Path" is pretty much what I tell people who haven't heard of them before. If you're craving some RATM, it's definitely an easy transition to Stray.
@@juliuswaxman3758 I say the same thing to people! I know Stray gets some shit for it, but I honestly love that a newer band is carrying that torch left by RATM.
@@ChandlerBurtonEntertainment this song is taking about police brutality and how it needs to be fixed within and how there starting to look like more a gang then some one to protect us
