    I have been using the S23 FE for three months, and now I can say that my biggest concern about this phone is its battery life, which is only four hours. This means I have to charge it twice a day. The performance is just decent. For example, if you play a game for 45 minutes, it will heat up. However, other than that, everything is really good. So, if you can get it for under 35k, you can purchase it.

    Which phone to buy among them
    1)Samsung galaxy s23 fe
    2)Realme gt 6t
    3)OnePlus Nord 4
    My budget is around 25-28k &My requirements are
    Performance
    Display
    Camera
    Good battery life
    For 5 years use

    • @RONTEK
      @RONTEK  14 часов назад

      S23FE doesn't have very good battery life like the other 2 phones. So, you can eliminate that from the list if very good battery life is a high priority. Otherwise, it has the best cameras of this bunch.
      Among Realme GT 6T and OnePlus Nord 4, the choice is difficult as both have very similar specs. However, Realme has a better display and slightly better selfie camera whereas oneplus has better build and longer software support.
      But, Oneplus has lately been criticised for poor quality control with their updates resulting in green lines on display and motherboard failure.
      So, Realme GT 6T is a safer choice.

      @@RONTEK Hey! I just checked that video. Audio is better, but bass is high, so even though you recorded in stereo, it sound like mono due to high bass. I'm using Sony XM4 (LDAC) with balanced profile for this. I would by the way recommend you get a shotgun mic e.g. Rode Mic. That will be out of shot + give you a good audio that you can further tune if required. I would also recommend you try OBS audio filter for removing background noise, or even NVIDIA RTX studio (if possible). See which one performs best. Record 3 samples, get A/B testing from 3-5 of your friends. Ideally, audio recorded (master) should be as flat as possible, then you can add bass etc. later in post processing. Hope this helps!

    In BBD will s23 come under 35k
    And if it came then which one should i buy s23 or iphone 13
    And if s23 price drop won't be that much then should i buy s23 fe or iphone 13 as every youtuber is saying 13 will be under 35k
    Totally confused 😊

    • @RONTEK
      @RONTEK  18 дней назад +1

      I'm not sure whether the s23 will go under 35k, but it will most likely go under 40k during BBD sale.
      And among these 3 phones, it is easily the best phone to get.
      However, between s23fe and iPhone 13, I personally feel that the s23fe is a superior device. You're getting a bigger, brighter and smoother display, more versatile camera setup, better performance and double the RAM, a type C port with 10x faster data transfer speeds as well as DeX mode instead of the outdated lightning port and now it also has a lot of AI features like circle to search and is more future ready with support for ray tracing and other advanced features.
      So, unless you want that apple logo or are deeply invested in the apple ecosystem, s23fe is the better phone overall.

    • @Ddeviil
      @Ddeviil 18 дней назад +1

      @@RONTEK any idea about s23fe will go under 30k or not ?
      And which has a better camera in 23fe and 13
      And in s23 and 13

    • @RONTEK
      @RONTEK  18 дней назад +1

      @@Ddeviil There is a good chance of the s23fe going under 30k based on previous trends.
      Coming to the topic of cameras, I've not tested the iPhone 13 and s23. But usually the image processing of Samsung and apple is pretty good with some minor differences. However, with the s23 and s23fe, you're also getting a 3x zoom camera which is great for zoom upto 10x, has very good portrait mode output and can also be used for macros. This makes the camera setup more versatile compared to the iPhone 13.

    Hi Ron Tek,
    Your video was very informative! I'm considering buying the phone you reviewed and had a few questions. Could you please address them, especially regarding the situation after receiving the update?
    1. Reviews suggest the Exynos isn't optimized and causes overheating. Has there been any improvement after the update?
    2. Is the battery now more power-efficient, or does it still last only around 5 hours?
    3. Have you noticed any performance upgrades in the camera?
    4. Can you secretly record a call with this phone?
    5. How's the gaming experience? Does it heat up excessively?
    Lastly, would you recommend waiting for the Snapdragon(more optimized) variant of the S23 FE?
    Thank you!

    • @RONTEK
      @RONTEK  4 месяца назад +5

      1. It doesn't overheat but it does get hot when pushed really hard. That is something even snapdragon 8 gen 1 does. So, both are equally good or bad in that regard.
      2. Battery life is decent but not great. 5-6 hrs SOT is what you should realistically expect.
      3. Cameras have gradually improved with updates.
      4. Yes, all Samsung phones have call recording functionality without informing the other side.
      5. Gaming is good but it does get hot when pushed hard. Games like COD and BGMI will run without any issues but heavy games like genshin impact makes the phone hot.
      And there is no point waiting for the snapdragon variant as even the snapdragon variant has the same problems as the Exynos variant (heating and not the best battery life). Both chips are made by Samsung and so have similar issues.
      Snapdragon has a slightly more powerful GPU but Exynos has Ray Tracing support which makes it more future proof.
      Overall, both chips are almost identical and there is no point choosing one over the other.
      Overall, the phone is very good and at it's current price, it's an amazing deal.
      With the latest updates, it has received a lot of AI features as well making it the most capable phone in its price range by a big margin.

      If you can go for s23, go for it. It's the best among these options. The battery life is on par or better than s23fe as it's very energy efficient.
      Also, its performance and camera are much better.
      But, if that is out of budget, s23fe is a better buy compared to a55.
      Yes, it does heat up, but only when pushed hard. In general usage, it doesn't have any problems. Also, even when it heats up, it doesn't affect the performance of the phone like previous versions of exynos chips.

      Most of the reviews are made before the android 14 update. At that time, the battery life was average but after the update, it has become a lot better. You can see the screenshots I've shared. I'm getting around 6-7 hrs of screen on time with a full day of use.
      Even if used outdoor all day long on 4g/5g, it should give you 5-6 hrs SOT.

      Other than gaming, the nothing phone 2 has some important advantages over the s23 fe.
      - It's display is bigger, has thinner bezels and is more power efficient.
      - The phone feels better in the hand.
      - The UI feels smoother.
      - The performance is better while the phone stays cooler.
      - Glyph lights offer good utility.
      - The battery lasts longer by about 15-20%
      - Charging speed is also faster
      S23 Fe advantages
      - IP68 rating gives peace of mind
      - Speakers sound slightly better
      - Cameras are much better overall (both photos and videos)
      - UI is more feature packed, customizable and secured. It will also get more updates.
      - USB 3.2 type c port has much faster data transfer speed.
      Based on this, you can decide whether to go for the nothing phone 2 or wait for the s23fe to get cheaper.

      S23FE has decent to good battery life. If you're not a heavy gamer, it'll last a day without any issue. Also, s23fe is now priced on par with a55 while being much superior. So, getting the s23fe makes more sense.

    I just have to be honest for a minute if you're running the exynos 2200 chipset it's a decent processor but it's severely lacking compared to the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 that we have in the S23FEs here in the United States and our version of this phone have 30watt wireless charge and 30 watt reverse wireless charge to be honest they undercut and watered down your guys's version.

    Do you recommend this phone considering its battery life & heating/throttling?
    Also you mentioned after update throttling is improved, is it real?
    How is battery life & performance after update, does it lag often?

    • @RONTEK
      @RONTEK  4 месяца назад

      The battery life is decent but not great. The phone does get hot, but it doesn't throttle much, and the overall performance has improved after the updates. Now, with the most recent updates, it has got some AI features of the s24 series like circle to search. So, it's the most feature packed phone in its price range. Even camera wise, it's the best in its price range.
      It has no lagging issues. It's very smooth in day to day usage.

      A55 will give you a better design and build, bigger display, much better battery life, and 1 extra year of updates.
      S23fe will give you better cameras, better performance, wireless charging, and more advanced features like DeX mode and AI.
      The choice is yours.

      S22+ is a better overall phone. But the chip inside it heats up quite a bit. Even the s23 fe heats up, but its vapor chamber cooling system dissipates the heat faster.
      So, if you're a light user, s22+ will do just fine. But if you use your phone for heavy stuff, s23 fe is a slightly better option.
