    Dear Thoren: Thanks for your videos. I share many of your values---- the rural outdoors, respect for the environment, being a "do-er", putting yourself through college and graduate school for exercise physiology. I'm a retired physician, psychiatrist, came from humble beginnings and had to work to pay my way. One area of specialty was adult ADD/ADHD. Indeed boosting dopamine helps very many. Amazing what you have accomplished with your God given gifts, talent, and hard work. You are intelligent and a very good instructor, well informed, and keep yourself in such good condition-----yet still appear in your videos as a humble man. Very inspiring to see this . Kudos to you, and thank you again !

    Great ideas for legs. I home workout in kitchen, lounge and garden. EZ bar walking lunge in garden. Dumbell farmers walk. Goblets squats. Step up. Not in one session but go to workouts. Daily blended beg juice of carrots one day, celery with kale another. Love it.

    I like the promise of more vlogs. The new gym is taking shape nicely. Hopefully Mother Nature will let you progress without too much more snow. I like that new banded sumo lift. Much less jerky of a motion. More controlled. Thanks for that. Of course you were sweating. WTF 🤬. You just busted your ass on leg day! 💪😎 I don’t have one of those box step things, but I improvise with a really well made sturdy wood coffee table. So far, so good. Oh, and I know all about cold showers 🚿. They’re the best way to cool off in the Summer after a workout. Thanks Thor! ⚒️

    Hell yeah the gym is going to be awesome! The workouts explained changes how my brain will approach leg day. That was really good. As an extra hungry pregnant girl, who definitely needs more fiber, I am going to get more into the big salad. (It’s like the Seinfeld episode lol) With healthy dressing- that’s key! I know you’ve never had Chic fil A but their salads are served with a ton of lettuce vs toppings. It’s like packed with greens compared to other FF chains. Making your own is much cheaper but if you’re ever traveling and in a pinch- that’s where to go. Seriously though it’s $14 for a grilled chicken salad with extra chicken there 😳 but it’s so much salad I’m stuffed by the end 🤓

    Hey Thoren, thanks for all the super informative content. Love your no BS approach to it all.
    Quick question: what do you advise for injured folks who still want gains?
    I notice that you lean towards high weight, low reps which I was doing and saw massive changes from, but I'm recovering from a bad back injury so I can't lift as heavy weights as I used to. I've been trying to limit myself on the cardio so my body doesn't eat away at my muscle mass but I'm having a hard time keeping my fat % down.

    • @williamdistasio9358
      @williamdistasio9358 Год назад

      Sorry he didn't reply, what did you figure out as an alternative to heavy weight low reps because of your back?
      I also have a lower back issue, (great genetics, thanks mom and dad lol) and am always trying to find new ways to help it.
      Thanks, and good luck to you!

    I had a question about the Dose app. How do you calculate the macro plan. I seem to be a person that gains when I even look at a carb. I am interested in joining. I had gastric bypass surgery about 11 yrs ago and I am struggling with regain. I have paid quite a bit of money for personal fitness coaching on more than occasion and every one seems to use the same formula to figure out macros and it doesn't work. The calculations are no different than what you can find on supplement web sites such as 1st Phorm. (This occurred despite assurances that the macro plan is "individually" created for the individual's specific needs). Thank you, love all your videos!
