People that expect it to last as long as a V6 are crazy. That's like asking a fish to stay dry! More Parts, More stress and more heat! MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I've been saying since I saw it. Toyota wants to buy my truck for more than I bought it for. They don't even believe in the 24. I have a 2021 Tacoma and they want it so badly it makes me want to keep it 😂

Time will definitely tell on the longevity of the four-pooper not to mention how much wear and tear the turbo portion of the engine will go through; especially working hard in towing and higher altitudes. The V6 has proven itself since 1994 and.yes it’s weak in the low end but it is a reliable workhorse. 🐴

the new tacoma is a disposable truck. run it 3 years, trade it in.......that's what they want.

I leased it because my 01 f150 finally died. I always wanted a tacoma and never had a new vehicle. Leased it because I wasnt sure about it being a new model. If shit starts breaking then I get to just give it back

Do you think it will last as long as the old V6? I'm sure it will still last a while but I think dropping from a V6 to a 4 banger is a let down! Love ur content!

Yes for sure. They took the engine from Lexus. It’s gonna be good

In the past Toyota engines were producing big engines with less power and now they are offering smaller engines with big power. What this basically means is that the old engines were not stressed but these high performance new engines will be lot more stressed and ultimately not reliable.

Would never get a truck with a four cylinder engine, lol! Toyota missed hard on this one, too bad

2024 Tacoma has a smaller gas tank 18.2 gals vs 3rd gens with 21.1 gals…means more trips to the gas stations..and with almost the same miles per gallon..
Wish they made the Tacomas with 400 plus miles per tank..but I am sure this added weight will reduce MPH …
Nicer at 500 miles between fill ups..? Lol

The price is not the direction we are heading in 😂 mid sized lineup there's plenty of competition. If you buy one of these 24' Tacoma's then you enjoy getting your head slapped and if that's the case, I have a business proposition for you that I would like to run by you 😂

@@spuds1366 see the thing is, I can afford it , it just doesn't make sense for what it is. If you like it then cool tho. Happy that you like it. I have 3 SUVs and a Truck. They are all 23' and 24' and My 23's are paid off already. Guarantee this goes down as the worst selling year of Tacoma tho!

Internet is full with videos of unhappy new Toyota trucks owners. Looks like Toyota’s quality control in 2024 models went down the toilet. I live nearby a big Toyota dealership and it clearly looks like they’re having a hard time trying to sell their new trucks. I even was thinking about getting a new Tacoma because it looks really nice but now I’m reconsidering. Sadly looks like Toyota’s old glory days are gone.

All I want is a v6 4x4. I hate turbos they cause way too many problems. My buddy has a f350 diesel with a turbo. He blew a head gasket and the turbo on it it's been sitting for two years now the turbo on it is 4 grand. That 4 cylinder is gonna blow 😂
