The Japan video series that you guys did is honestly the best piece of content / car content I’ve ever seen on RUclips and I try to get people to watch it just to experience the ride along Japan with you guys.
But juicebox as a channel too as everyone else has said is just so pure raw and we all feel like a part of you guys. I look forward to every video that comes out
Do the Patreon. You’ll be surprised how many people will sub straight away but you deserve it Neil

Ireland's No1 RUclips channel without a doubt. No clickbait titles, no stupid suspense stories or misleading video's to attract viewers, just a bunch of Genuine lad's with a passion for everything car related. This channel is growing from strength to strength while others are starting to fall off the ratings due to overdoing it and forgetting where they started. Keep doing what you're doing and one day you could be the new Adam LZ.

Cheers for everything Neil and I hope the trip to Japan is Mega.

I've always thought that content creators who are genuinely passionate about the subject matter they are filming are always going to make content that is enjoyable to watch, and I think that very much applies here. Juicebox is more than just a 4 year 86 build, thanks to your passion and dedication surrounding Irish Japanese car culture.
If anything, once the 86 is done it will allow you to explore more facets of the things you enjoy, like more regular drift days in the BMW or track days in the Honda.
Keep being yourself and we'll all keep watching

A few thoughts I have after watching this:
    - Just leave your store running 24/7 but keep a full disclosure that you only fulfil orders every few weeks or so, you never know when people are getting paid or feel like buying a product, so putting everyone into a pre-order corner can really limit your sales.
    - I am beyond stoked to hear that you are going back to Japan, your first Japan video and then the Japan in a Van series are some of the most inspiring things I've ever watched on RUclips.
    - Anybody that doesn't understand what you are doing with the content surrounding your 86 has been filtered by all of the large-scale content machine RUclipsrs that only build cars for the purpose of pumping out algorithm favouring videos and the instant dopamine hit of short-form content like TikTok. I don't think you will lose a single on of your regular followers when the 86 is done.
    - Patreon with added benefits like discord membership, exclusive videos, etc is a great way to support yourself. Noriyaro does a fantastic job of managing that.
    - Lastly, thank you for all that you've done with Juicebox Neil, from the kid that knew who you what feels like a lifetime ago as the "Irish guy hanging about Circuit Soul" to now you being one of the biggest influences I've had in automotive culture, please never stop.

Anybody who thinks you’re slow rolling the reveal has been influenced by tubers and never actually tried to restore a car. My uncle built hot rods for 40 years while having a wife, kids, overtime job and in the end he finished five. One of the things I like most about this channel is it reminds me of him. I’d say when you finish the 86, take it to shows, track days, etc and show us it was all worth it. Eventually, the bug will bite you again and you can start working on something new and we’ll be excited for that too cuz you have good taste in the classics.

I’ve followed Juicebox since the early days, I use to always check the website for new features. Having that available as a video is something I really enjoy and even though I now live on the other side of the world I still feel connected to the Irish car culture though juicebox.

    1. Please keep doing what you’re doing… your passion and genuineness shows through in the videos. Do what you love and you will do well. Please please please don’t generate content just to generate content. There is enough RUclipsrs that do that and it’s the reason I’ve left their channels to watch a channel like yours.
    2. Absolutely do preorders and who cares how long it takes to get to us… if someone thinks it’s time critical to get a sticker, t-shirt or hoodie they can go get one at Walmart, otherwise it’s totally worth the wait!
    3. It’s fun seeing the updates on the 86 but it’s not why we come to your channel. Anyone who owns their own project car (especially an 86) knows these things take time and money!
    4. Start a patreon, hell start a go fund me I don’t care there are plenty of us who would love to throw some money your way just to help you along and selfishly because we love to see you head to Japan and make more content there!
    5. We love you buddy! Keep it up!!!

I've commented over a couple different RUclips accounts for years now. I started watching Juicebox in high-school, when my life was really rough. Back then, I didn't really have an interest in cars, but I was really into anime, Vapor-wave, and all the Synth-wave stuff that was coming out back in 2017. During the summer, I watched Initial D for the first time, all because I heard Euro-beat in a meme. It was incredibly captivating and completely changed my view of cars. I watched the first season, and immediately went straight to "JDM" car content. I watched hours of touge VHS tapes, and hot-version. I watched the 3rd episode of the vlogs 3 days after it came out. I bought myself an NA Mazda Miata (MX5) in 2018 and started trying to learn about cars, drifting, and Japanese car culture.
Fast forward to 2023. I have a fleet of 80s Toyota in my garage and driveway, and it's all because of seeing these videos. Some people may say you're dragging out the videos, but for me it's given me something that got me through a rough patch. Thanks for all the videos over the years Neil. Don't ever stop doing what you're doing. This really is, THE BEST channel on RUclips.

Man I've discovered you around episode 2 or 3, I cant believe its been this many years. The 86 build has been a great journey and a pleasure to be a part of, but the car isn't what makes this channel special. Living in Ireland myself maybe makes me a bit biased but it was a breath of fresh air seeing high quality local content in a sea full of hardstyle diffin vids from Letterkenny king of the cone, and it still is. Another thing that makes it great is the passion and talent you guys have, the banter and bullshit distractions, the fact is that you make 20 mins of grown ass kids doing stupid shit while they're supposed to be working on cars an absolute pleasure to watch. We'll still be here seeing what yous are up to long after the 86 is finished. What you've built is not just a good build vlog channel, but a culture of its own, a way of life, I personally know people that have migrated to JDM cars from BMW's because of the influence your cinematography and general vibe had on them, caught the bug just like Josh has. Honestly man you can be extremely proud of yourself, I'm very grateful to be able to experience all of this. Thanks for all the laughs

  • @mochunk
    @mochunk Год назад +2

Oh, and to address some of your concerns that people think it's taking too long, etc... Have been spoiled by the other youtube channels and builds you mentions with big budgets and often big crews putting in big hours. Your journey has been realistic to the every-person who dreams of doing the same. Taking an old dodgy car they loved and slowly scrutinizing every bolt and wheel arch to build their dream car and have fun doing it. YOu're documenting what is often overlooked or edited out, the real struggle of daily life and just trying to afford the time if not the money to keep a project going rather than just giving in and scrapping the whole thing. This is the real reason some of us watch. That's the charm. The real blokes doing real things and taking real time to enjoy the real experience. Just keep being you and keep improving your craft, and your car.

I think you should try it full time for sure, it’s a bit of a send but I think you’ll regret it if you don’t and it could change your life if you went full time at it. You can always get another job if it doesn’t work out! If you had the shop open full time or employed someone to do it, it would allow you to have more of a business also like Adam LZ etc. If they never quit their job and sent it full time they wouldn’t be where they are today!

It's by far one of the most genuine car channels on here, normal lads with Normal lives building their dream cars. I enjoy each episode, keep it up. I've no problem at all throwing a few bob in each month. Money well spent. No need to apologise about the length of the build- it means more episodes!

Everytime a video comes out and it is not about the 86 progress, i have a millisecond were im sad that it is not about the car...but I did realise some while ago that exactly this - that the story is way longer that we are used to in modern YT world - is key to the quality and emotions of the journey.
You really dont have to apologize - it is a refreshing thing in a world full of rush and on demand stuff.

The Corolla is a huge part of the channel, but the reason I love y’all’s videos is the way y’all are genuine. It’s refreshing to see a bunch of friends just fuck about with cars. It’s the same with my buddies all the way in the US. I like seeing all of the same things me and my friends go through building our cars with other folks halfway around the world. Keep up the great content!

Hey Neil man, don't apologise for taking years to finish the 86, to be honest it makes me feel better about the slow progress on my own car, real life projects aren't always completed in a couple of weeks. Its good to have a relatable car channel rather than just big budget builds with all the parts and tools to hand. Look forward to seeing your future projects for sure (please be big ass saloon with red velour) thanks for keeping it real dude 🤘

Just a bunch guys getting together to enjoy a common interest.Which is why I hope you keep the channel going even after the 86 is done, and want see the other cars you got in the works. And in relation to the discord I say keep it open to everyone but you could also have like exclusive roles for people that patreon .

No need to apologize for the length of the build. I'm in the same boat with my MX73, its about 4 years now, covid caused delays, getting parts was a nightmare, waited on wheels for a year, etc. Its understandable. Hope to have my car driving this summer though I'll have to wait another year to paint it. Also keep Juicebox going!

Any average guy/gal building a car can relate to you. Fitting in time, managing work, commuting where ever to get shit done. You have probably one of the most organic and real channels on here. Seeing you get out and enjoy more of what you love would be so cool to see. Maybe roadtrip vlogs with the 86 once its done and see how far you can take it, you deserve to drive it as much as humanly possible. Im sure gonna stick around once its finished and I would say the majority of viewers would do the same. Keep at it Neil, Much love from NZ!!
