Could very well be true. However, once he is on that stage he gives 110%. His voice was simply amazing. No auto tune just his natural raw beautiful voice.
George said on the Parkinson show that he was doing private shows to be able to afford to make and give his music away for free to his fans , George got millions of dollars for this show and if people could afford it and wanted him , why not ?? Believe me if I had a couple of million back then I sure would have had one , without question lol
