Check your task manager and check what could cause that issue, right click on your down left corner whete the windows logo are and then click on task manager, this pops up the task manager and shows you the cpu, ram, disk and gpu usage, from my personal opinion, you have a "bottleneck", a restriction on your system who can get you struggling when you try to use your computer, it could be your ram or your disk usage, it's pretty uncommon to get a bottleneck on the cpu or the gpu, but still could be the reason for your problem, do that and see if you could get something

But, SSD doesnt require optimization or Defragmentation. The function of SSD and HDD is different. It may reduce its life.
