I never had a problem with TBS
The Braves v WCW roster in terms of payroll comparison is ridiculous. The Braves were involved with revenue sharing, on 5 times a week, on radio, top 3 in merchandise in the MLB. These things aren't comparable.
If it wasn’t for WCW I would’ve never heard of the Atlanta Braves (I’m 43yrs old). It’s like when I’ve watched several shoot interviews and they kept mentioning this guy’s name (I’ve forgot it again) so I wrote a comment about who is this guy and I got the reply “he’s the greatest quarterback ever” (plays for the Patriots I believe but could Greenbay but believe it’s the Patriots). See outside America no one watches baseball, NFL or NHL basketball has done alright in Europe as here in England we have a pro basketball league my local team is Plymouth Raiders and Plymouth isn’t a big city and down here in Devon and Cornwall we’re forgotten about by London and the government. So if Plymouth has a team it must be quite well supported but there’s no baseball, NFL or Ice Hockey leagues in Europe. Hell I don’t even know what month the Super Bowl is played as it’s not reported on the mainstream news channel, Sky Sports News will as it does all sports from every country
@@nichhodge8503 My point is that the Braves were generating like 20 times the revenue of WCW at that time. Whether people outside the US have heard of them or not. WCW might have been operating at a loss at that same time. We won't really ever know the finances because of the weird accounting Turner was doing. But we know the Braves were the 2nd most profitable MLB team in the 90s, if not the 1st in some years.
Tbs executives were snobs tht didn’t like pro wrestling. People tht are not wrestling fans. Look down on it. Bishoff had his hands tied. In my opinion. 👋
