At least Scott Hall was honest about his shortcomings, unlike other top stars during this time. He doesn't embellish on the good or sugarcoat the bad. Long live The BAD GUY!
Those promos he cut as RR were GOLD----so captivating and so funny. Makes me smile listening to him talk. He made the perfect adaptation of Tony Montana from gangster to wrestler. RIP Bad Guy.
The Razor vignettes as well as the Goldust vignettes I can remember them all to this day. That's how you know you have a great vignette, they are memorable.
lol.. shoutout to Tito Santana. On point, and quick to respond too! Razor Ramon is one of the greatest and coolest characters in the business. RIP Scott Hall.
Scott was so good in character as Razor Ramon that all Latinos, including me, thought he was Latino back in the 90’s lol. Back in the pre-internet era you couldn’t find info easy, so I had no idea his real name was Scott Hall
I only watched the WCW for a year in 1997 but Scott had just started the nWo. Since then he had become my favorite Pro Wrestler of all time. RIP SCOTT HALL!
Razor Ramon was and still one of my fav characters still today whenever me and brother get together and there’s a tooth pick around we throw toothpicks at one another 😮😢
If he only had come a little later to the business, he would be a huge movie star by now. Scott Hall, a man ahead of his time. RIP, big man. You are missed.
He even has the toothpick behind his ear in this, massive respect to Scott Hall, Razor was a huge character in wrestling, he inspired a lot of guys. I don’t think any of person could’ve played a character based on Tony Montana any better than Scott, he really brought it to life. Also HUGE respect to him for being honest about the steroids and it’s good that he was able to continue to be successful after stopping them
Much like Roddy Piper, Scott didn't need a Heavyweight Championship run to get over with fans in both WWE and WCW. He was the coolest character of the cartoon-ish "New Generation Era".
If you think about it… I don’t think Vince got out much. The guy was responsible for everyone in the company’s livelihood and had to make sure every show was good and everything leading up to every show. Guys like him I wouldn’t be surprised if they only got out heir information from the people who surrounded them only.
Razor was a good man bottom line ... he had his demons but who else on earth didn't have one ?? I had mine and who ever is reading this you did too .. I wish I met him before he left us ... he was a part of my childhood and respected this man and I still do ❤️ razor Ramon the bad guy for life 🤟🏽
True. But also earlier. He told them he'd be happy even if he just had Barry Horowitz's spot. He knew he could perform (so could Barry) and he knew just being there meant he was a star. Even though his gimmic was entirely being in business for himself, in reality he knew his best shot wasn't going to be found in jockying with Vince to be top dog. Compare that with the Warrior who basically demanded it constantly to a degree that got him blackballed
I bet the Cubans were like, Ramon? Ramon?! Are there Cubans with that last name? Or i wonder if he is related to the Ramon’s from this part of Cuba or that part of Miami.
Hilarious, he just casually says, "Yeh so, I go into the bathroom, and Tito Santana was in there, and I say hey, I need to come up with a name, Tito goes, how about Ramon, I go, cool, that's it, thanks" lol... The Legendary Tito Santana gave the Legend to be, Razor Roman his name, after Tito just finished taking a wiz You can't make this stuff up RIP Razor
I cant believe someone (Vince), who is so out of touch w/ pop culture that they haven't even seen Scarface, or even know what a Cuban is, can be a corporate megalomaniac billionaire in the entertainment business.
6:30-Wow! This woman whose kids i used to babysit HATED Razor Ramon cuz of these skits! She thought he was obnoxious and a bad influence on kids! She didnt even watch wrestling, she just caught what we were watching. She almost made her kids quit watching wrestling. I had to convince her it was acting.
RIP to the late-great Scott Hall

There have been few characters as entertaining and as over as Razor Ramon. Scott Hall made that character, and that character made Scott Hall.

Man. Can't believe razors gone. R.I.P to a true legendary worker and wrestler. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time
Such a great performer. His promos were top shelf.
I never get tired of hall telling the story
He's got great stories and knows how to tell them for sure. Never knew he's was this intelligent
Man this makes me really miss Scott. Of all the Clique Scott always seemed the most cool.
He definitely was. He didn’t let his ego get to him the way others did.
Scott Hall is one of the most fascinating people to listen to speak about the business.
Incredible mind for the business. Never held the world title but was more over than any champion today easy
Let’s not forget about Roman reigns
For some reason I thought he had it briefly in WCW. Just looked and I was wrong.
Some guys never needed it

One of the best origin stories I’ve ever heard in wrestling.
Scott was a born entertainer. Loved every second of his time in WWF and WCW.
Scott was a great dude, and he is so great to listen to, he really gets wrestling more then so many, miss you bad guy.

RIP Scott ... I absolutely loved the Razor Ramon gimmick
Razor Ramon was Scott Hall's greatest gimmick it made him a legend

He was the original total package! He had everything! Looks, Wrestling skills, personality, etc!
Man, he was such a great storyteller and clearly a super intelligent guy when he wasnt fucked up.
Top mind for the biz. Started NWO, came up with the Razor gimmick, gave Sting his iconic look, what else???
Taught Hulk Hogan to be the Hollywood Hogan
What an awesome character Razor was. RIP Scott

I was laughing all the through this. Pure joy.
I was lucky enough to spend some time with Scott was a amazing friendly guy who told honest stories of his career rip the bad guy you are missed
As a Cuban kid in the 90s I got to say it broke my heart when I found out he wasn't Cuban in real life LOL he played that s*** cold

Hall was awesome as razor ramon.
One of the best IC champs.
That was a treat he gave us a little sample of Razor Ramon. I was a true fan of Scott Hall

I really missed this man. 💔😢

Loved this guy and his signature moves, the spinning punch, fall away slam, and the Razors Edge. RIP Mr. Hall...Bad Guy 4 Life. 🤘🏽

What an awesome interview Hall was . And wow does he know the business
I miss the bad guy, saw you wrestle in 94. Great interview.
Love your stories scott! Always seemed like the coolest dude from the Kliq! Hope your resting easy now bro!
Scott Oliver Hall (October 20,1958-March 14,2022) portrayed the gimmick of "Razor Ramon," exceptionally well.

I had a friend growing up who was an extremely causal wrestling fan, he always mistakenly pronounced it "Razor Raymond" used to drive me crazy 😂
Razor will always be Scott's best period - Yes, The NWO was important too but without Razor who knows what his career would've been
You know Scott was a genuine guy when he is talking about how his gimmick was basically a rip off but you still love the guy
The first time I heard this story was in Controversy creates cash, and I fell out laughing!😂😂😂😂😂

Crazy that Vince never saw scarface, must not be a movie guy.

the world was a better place when the Bad Guy was still with us.
I love Tito’s small moment of fame by giving a simple Spanish last name to propel a star in the making.
Feels like Curt Hennig was like everyone’s best friend

Jerry Jarrett wanted to name him Henry Tatermasher. If only...
Classic
Miss him
Razor definitely didnt look like he was off steroids early on during his Razor Ramon run
He thinned out by Survivor 92 though
Great to see the man talking not a character
great story, great career, he made more $$$ wrestling as razor ramon than he did as magnum scott hall and the diamond studd
He'd have made an amazing car salesman.
Rest easy Scott.
It is a shame that Razor never had a run at the championship. Not necessarily win it, but just be in the run for it.
Another one of my child hood heroes gone 😪
Now imagine him playing Tony Montana in scarface. Would’ve been just as good as Mr. Pacino
What's with all the uploads going on recently? Not just Scott, but tons of other guys.
