Good news for the Steve Heimler in an alternate universe who lives in the Qing Dynasty: If you are bald, the government considers it to be officially OK to wear a wig.
Steve Heimler, thank you so much for helping me this year and thank you for getting good test scores from your information. Hoping for the Unit 4 Review Video!!!
Tbh I wish when I found you on tik tok back in January I didn’t wait until 2 months before the test to pay attention. Now I’m writing everything you say down for my notes next week 😂 need contextulizarion and outside evidence points
Hello Mr. Heimler, thank you so much for posting these videos! They really help me study in a timely manner. There is one thing I don’t quite understand though. I learned in class that Han Chinese men did not hold government positions in the Qing Dynasty; only Manchu men did. On the other hand, I thought that if some Han men had to wear their hair in a “queue” then that means they were part of the government. Could you please help me understand this better?
come to our school in minneapolis , cristo rey jesuit high school. my teacher always make us watch your videos. also mention us in your videos my teacher said. you’re like my teachers internet best friend.
Hi Steve, I am in AP World History but my class uses the second edition Robert Strayer book from the old cirriculum. We are in period 4, 1450-1750. But I was confused by your references to the units of the new cirriculum. My teacher simply defines "unit 1" as 1200-1750 on his website, but I was wondering if you could break down the new periodization so I can better understand where my class is at.
Sure. There are six units that cover four time periods. Units 1-2 are 1200-1450. Units 3-4 are 1450-1750. Unit 5 is 1750-1900. Unit 6 is 1900-present. Hope that helps.
bruh how do you crank these vids out so fast? not complaining, they're top quality
Ha, that’s funny. Most people are asking if I can hurry up and crank out more.
I love you K B. I always have, and I always will. Never forget that my dear.

I mean, it’s hard to answer that in general. The most general answer is the expansion of empires and the effects of that expansion.
