i just now realized watching this on a big screen that at 0:04 the lower level of the scene is just a perspective painted floor. this was the type of effects shots that put shows like Hercules in their tv history spot, but it was just some serious creative and professional film making on a tight TV budget. All so they could tell a story that might have even been too big for it's time. certainly in that timeslot. Truly one of the greats of the "fun" era of TV.
Wait, he busted down a concrete wall, but couldn't break the door? The amount of inconsistencies in this show is staggering. Still entertaining though, and back in 1999 when nothing better aired, this was my childhood show. I cringe now when I was rewatching these.
You often have "Xena: Warrior Princess" in the title even though it's "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" ;) When I browsed the channel, it's seriously wrong with a lot of videos.
It was a TV show. Shows don't have the budgets that movies do, so their special effects tend to look pretty bad and they're limited in what they can do.
We can all agree Bruce needed his own show as this character.
@Carlos Spicyweiner Notice I said "needed" as past tense?
@Carlos Spicyweiner Zorbo was like a discount Jaskier. Too bad it was only a guest appearance because it could have worked great as a show.
I agree. We should’ve gotten a spin off series about Autolycus and Joxer

The title should have said "Fighting A HUGE Serpent | Hercules"
This is from Hercules The Legendary Journey, not Xena Warrior Princess. Who ever uploaded this clip needs to go back and edit the title. 🤣🤣🤣
The channel really cant keep up
I'm just glad the channel has uploaded it. Keep up the good work!
Right lol 😂
Its Xenia and Hercules bruh. They had the same production company i think
@@forgottenmma3694 that doesn't mean anything
There’s always gotta be a trap or something guarding a treasure room like a dragon or something
Who would have thought the sfx team for Hercules would later do sharknado?
That's the same snake from Young Hercules movie when Hercules is in one of ares temples
Okay, that was actually pretty cool 😎.
I could have sworn I've seen that big serpent in the very 1st Resident Evil when you play as Jill Valentine 🤣
Lol
🤣👍

😂😂😂😂 interesting team to See okay
I can hear the PS1 intro
Did this remind anyone else of Monkey City from the real life Jungle Book?
The only thing wrong wirh this scene is they didn't finish it off and get that treasure
Isn't Autolycus a Demi God too?.
Nope.
Yes in the myths he's the son of Hermes and some mortal woman
In the myths, yes. But in the show, he is just a mortal man.

The Special Effects back then were so Cheesy.
