    Hi John! I actually found this rather useful considering that my Bmw X2 M35i does 15,000+ miles per year! Some areas that I usually miss is the exhaust pipes, lower grille, boot shut, around my number plate (as it is 4D) and usually behind the wheel spokes, which I should really remember as the forged wheels are extremely expensive to repair and brake dust particles have been fused to the finish, which I can't remove with iron remover, tar remover and a clay bar! 😂😂

    Some great tips here! Agree on those arches! See so many cars in our cold climate that start rusting in those areas. The front of the window and hitting all the downward facing surfaces is a great point.

    One common area that often gets missed to add is the recess between the windscreen and the roof/pillars. It takes the brunt of head on muck and flies etc. Again and good hogs hair brush when snowfoamed sorts it

    I do a maintenance wash every week, attention to detail this time of year is geared to weather and time. On a good day it’s hogs hair brush on all these areas, jet wash and blow dry hard to reach areas towel dry, I did buy an under carriage jet wash rig, but that gets done once in the spring.

    • @MartinMcDonald-rs2yl
      @MartinMcDonald-rs2yl Год назад

      @@amyk9813 if your referring to the Uno advanced then No, the Uno advanced gives the type of durability of a sealant or better, but also gives a waxed look IMO not so much of a warm glow on darker colors but brilliant gloss, with the type of weather we get in UK its hard to look at durability products like Uno Advanced for example, if your car is garaged then wax might be the way to go.
