*What's your favorite fish that Dean has been breeding?* He's been very successful making beautiful angelfish for our store, so check out his tutorial: ruclips.net/video/gEiu4_qt1-Q/видео.html
I love seeing Dean’s fish room. Breeding is such an engaging and vital aspect of the hobby, and it’s truly wonderful to have such a dedicated and skilled breeder sharing his experience and process.
The further I get in this hobby the more I see parallels to cooking. I can really see someone with a chef's brain being a good aquarist. Whether it's making baby brine, or breeding a certain fish, or setting up a new tank, the more you refine the process it's like developing a recipe to follow with consistent success. A pinch of food here, the right temperature there, getting all the best ingredients together just right etc.. How cool would it be if Dean and Cory wrote a fish breeding "recipe book" detailing the processes and correct parameters for breeding common fish? I would love to have that book!
This video is like going back to your original roots. Good job. Recent videos, like for 2 years, your videos deviated from fish hobby to feeling like 'oh we have this new product we made click this link below to buy it' constantly throughout the video. Not just you Cory with those ad segments, but even your guests plugging in the ad whenever there was a chance. The videos felt like an advertisement with small bit of hobby/hobbyists showing off their talent. Keep up the hustle, champ.
You both are so much fun to watch. The 'dynamic duo'!! Plus, I learn a lot. There is something wonderful about up close studying about fish habits. Thanks for sharing this! USA
@13:30 OMG, people have no clue until they go through it Not worth the hassle to try and artificially raise. Plus, fry raised by good parents are more likely to be good parents themselves.
Hey Cory you are the best man. Just want to say that I'm happy you are stepping away for your own mental health and taking the time you need. Aquarium Co-Op videos are never the same without you, that's true. But at this point I think most of us are here for the long haul and are just happy to experience the day to day stuff with you. Hell, even going back to feeding videos once a week would be awesome. Keep on truckin' my dude.
Hi Cory and Dean! I've been a hobbyist for a really long time. Was out of the hobby for a few years and came back in about a year ago. Recently found your videos and very much enjoy them. I have just one problem. I find myself agreeing with all the stuff that you say. That just doesn't seem right, being that I don't even agree with myself all the time. I finally found something in another video that I can disagree with you about. Dean, I have planted tanks and I keep Ramshorn snails and I really like them. I won't give you all the reasons. You already know all the reasons that people who like them, keep them. I just want to thank you for giving me something hobby related that I can disagree with you about. Small apartment, so when I got back into the hobby I decided to keep some small fish that I love. The first is black bar Endlers. I went for the best and got pure stock, genetically proven and registered with the Endler's Breeders Association. You guys should check out Enders Ark, although the pictures don't do the fish justice. They're magnificent and Noah is a great guy! OK, I guess this sounds like some kind of an ad for him. Sorry, but it's not. I'm just happy and I know you guys get happy about this stuff too and you interview fish breeders. He's worked with John Endler and others to keep the many pure Endler's breeds alive even though they're extinct in the wild and crossbred pretty much everywhere with guppies in the main industry. These fish are so incredibly hardy, the adult male with beautiful colors was actually displaying for the female in the bag as I was setting up an acclimation drip after they traveled for 3 days cross country! Okay, I guess you'll delete this post because I'm talking about Endlers Ark too much, but the truth is I could say more, all of it good, just as I could say more for you guys and I recommend you to others. Thanks! One more note. There's a big FW fish show in Morgantown, Pennsylvania in September. They call it the Keystone Clash. You guys should be there. Everybody on the East Coast would be happy to see you.
Hey internet... I've got plenty of pearling plants in many tanks with ZERO co2, a sponge filter(some with only an airstone, no filter AT ALL) and all my fish are happy, healthy & make making more of themselves... I have too many black Moscow guppies...! Sarasota,Florida's market is flooded with em right now...! If you're local, look me up...! Thanks Cory for another awesome video...! Dean too...! Love y'all, keep it up...!
Very good and entertaining as always. His organization is amazing and the immaculate condition of every single tank is incredible. I’d love to have a few of those discus fry when he has them. They are absolutely gorgeous.
I have been watching Cory's videos from the start and these are what aquarium coop are about I look at the new videos and there just adverts the old deans fish room and Cory building fish rooms are why we are all here watching
@aquariumcoop @deansfishroom What size is the plastic food pan being used to house fry at 6:15? I would like to do this in my standard 20-gallon-long tanks, as well as my rimless 10-gallon tanks. However, the “1/3 size” is too large to fit into the rimless 10-gallon tanks, or within the rim of the 20-gallon-long tanks. And, of course, “1/4 size” is too small…
Curious what was the brand in the video, Thierry is a name on the bottle in other words what did it contain the round bottle with the narrow neck holding vinegar eels
Interested to see the new mop, I just put out a mop for my pseudomugil furcata and they laid all their eggs on a small piece of some floating microsword. Ignored the mop completely.
Thank you Cory and Dean happy Easter love this cool stuff Cory like your older stuff Absolutely love this!Would love to see Deans fish room one tank like Cute Murphy on a stressful week alway’s check on Murphy camera enjoy him My golden retriever watch’s tv he love looking at my fish Aquarium
I'm not sure if you have done a video on this, but I'd like to see the automated water system setup. I noticed a lot of the water running through air tubing or something similar.
I notice some of your friends out tanks have way more than snow inch per gallon of fish. How do you keep them safe? I’m growing out my first fry mollies. In 4 weeks mamma has nearly had 130 babies. They are in a 37 gallon tank. The first set of 68 is about half an inch. They have to double in size before I can sell them. I’m worried they could overwhelm the system.
The yarn mops work really well for medakas when they yarn is some what dense and 2-3 inches long. I notice they don’t like the mops with the long strands that 6-8 inches long
I use 2 in-line chlorine removers (like for an RV/campers) connected together on my waterchange refill hose. Ive never had any issues. Do you think that's a good idea or am i crazy and lucky not to harm my fish?...... do you think that adding liquid chlorine removers have any benefits other that like aloe for the skin?
Are we gonna get some more insight into the products currently in R&D like the co2 regulator and the heater? The powerhead works so well so I'm looking forward to those!
I thought he said there was a video of how to make them. Maybe members only? If enough people ask about them maybe he'll have time to show us. I'm very interested myself
What lights does he use? What’s mounted under the shelves? I want to do that instead of having individual lights sitting on top of each tank. Anyone know or have suggestions for me???

*AT LAST A NEW DEAN'S FISHROOM VIDEO!!* Only shame is it's so short, I could watch this for hours.
I love seeing Dean’s fish room. Breeding is such an engaging and vital aspect of the hobby, and it’s truly wonderful to have such a dedicated and skilled breeder sharing his experience and process.
Dean is a great character teacher and hobbyists love his enthusiasm just makes my day seeing him rant about his passion
I just love this type of content, pure aquarium hobbyist material.
Well agreed
Like others have said, probably one of the best video series to ever watch on Aquarium Co-Op! Love love love!
Always more Dean. My daughter (8) always says the two of you together are very funny lol. Some of the cool plecos he has been breeding are awesome!
She's right. The two of them together is hilarious!!
I will be making those rice fish "mops". I've failed two seasons in a row with rice fish. I feel like this is my season for success!
Always nice to watch Dean's fishroom

7:21 what type of puffers is Dean keeping on the top shelf? Never heard you talk about these, are those spotted congo puffers?
@aquariumcoop @deansfishroom What size is the plastic food pan being used to house fry at 6:15?
I would like to do this in my standard 20-gallon-long tanks, as well as my rimless 10-gallon tanks.

What are those tiny white worms & what do you use them for?
I love those wierd squid looking mops for the rice fish, good to see everythings going ons

Great collection! Looks like you guys really know your stuff!!
Where did you get the "comb" cave as Cory called it, that was in the pleco tank? 😊😊
Interested to see the new mop, I just put out a mop for my pseudomugil furcata and they laid all their eggs on a small piece of some floating microsword. Ignored the mop completely.

Just did my first order for aquarium coop🎉
I love videos on Dean’s fish room!
Maybe I missed it but what were the apple cider vinegar worm bottles for? Are they food for something?
I notice some of your friends out tanks have way more than snow inch per gallon of fish. How do you keep them safe? I’m growing out my first fry mollies. In 4 weeks mamma has nearly had 130 babies. Yes love this video! Thank you dean and Cory
I love the customized post it notes 😂
Good to see an update!
Dean needs his own channel!!!!
Whats the rack system Dean uses?
Where can I purchase those custom rock backgrounds in the tanks?
How are the rock style panels are made please?
Should you remove substrate when treating for ICH? If you have pregnant fish should they be removed also?
😍😍Awsome..
Can u tell me What' is the name of these worms
Are we gonna get some more insight into the products currently in R&D like the co2 regulator and the heater? The powerhead works so well so I'm looking forward to those!
Always a pleasure seeing Dean and Cory in the Fish rooms.
