he bought her a “freakin house” without consulting her even remotely and expected her to just give up her life and move there. i love luke, but she deserves proper communication and he didn’t give it
The better days : NO cell phones, laptops, WiFi. All that exists are Arcades, video stores, ice cream shops & kids for hire to complete house/yard work👌🥰
1:48 I know its probably just the prop department reusing books but I love that Jess is re-reading Howl (the book he annotated for Rory in their first meeting)
Wait wasn't the hallway totally reversed from when Lorelai comes upstairs with the champagne after Jackson won as town selectman, I remember the door being on the other side.
Rory and Lor were talking earlier and Rory said something along the lines of “you could have superpowers like be super fast at showering”, and so that’s why Lorelai said that
Of course, 15-20 years later, if Luke were so inclined, he would just need to bring a laptop or tablet downstairs and he could watch whatever game he wanted on that instead on an old-school B&W, TV/radio hybrid. But this was 2003, not 2023, so while laptops existed by then, some of the other conveniences did not. And Luke was almost certainly the type of person who was always a few years behind the technology trends anyway.
I love Luke's Diner. The place to just hang out. No need for tv really, all the townspeople are entertaining enough.
Yup
Same!
That’s why there’s a tv show based on them
@@DeepikaGinger Luke was watching his baby TV. That's what I was referring to.
@@idfy2599 Ah
Aww their banter is so cute 😍
Its funny how she goes upstairs and Luke don't care lol
She is a good friend. And so cute.
"this is what I always pictured the inside of my head to look like"...LOL same though
I L❤️VE the nostalgia of this episode, the Gilmore Girls hitting the Video store & Ice cream shop🥰
I love the Diner scenes the most
I love Lorelai’s tshirt!!
Funny how she encourages Luke to move but is completely unwilling to move from her place when he buys her a freakin house....🙄
That’s was different
why would she move out of her own house the one she worked hard for.
Well Like was complaining about the space when Jess was living there and crap every where.

That is the tiniest TV I have ever seen
Luke’s place is different now than it was when Rachel was there. The bathroom was next to the kitchen then.
The magic of tv

I just realized - was Jess's jacket hiding Luke's supply list, explaining why it couldn't be easily found by Luke otherwise?
Omg that little alien head! There was on that used to hold lollipops, in this halloween store by my house, thats so nostalgic lol
How many Caesars does Luke have? I can think of three that are totally different from each other lol
That’s the puffy jacket Lauren Graham wanted.

I noticed that too
"lorelai" siempre aconsejando a "Luke"...me parece o esa es la casaca que se le perdió a Lauren y que ella quiso recuperar el 2016?...
Tv away from Mother comment hahaha
"I'll help u shower when I become a superhero"...?
