    Hi there, thank you for making this video for us to watch, it was a good watch !
    I myself ordered a pc that is being assembled by a company.
    Ordered the NZXT H5 Flow RGB wich has 4 fans installed that come with that version.
    Then i saw that these pre- installed fans have only 3 pin connectors.
    So i ordered all new 4 pin fans to replace and build in :D
    Keep this in mind for anyone buying this case.

    • @TechHunterOfficial

      Which fans did you order ☺?

      @Neophyte101 Год назад +1

      @@TechHunterOfficialI ordered 2x 140mm NZXT F140 Core rgb for the front, and 2x F120 Core fans.. one for the back and one for the bottom at an angle, also RGB in the color white.
      I did this because my new NZXT Kraken Elite 240 RGB White aio also comes with the same fans.
      They are pretty much all rounder fans, so good to use for case and radiators.
      The core fans can spin at higher RPM’s and with the 4-pin controlable.
      Also ordered the NZXT N7 Z790.
      It’s going to be an all white build 😊.

      Or does my mainboard have enough fan headers to do this without the need of controller ? 😅
      That’s 4 case fans and 2 on the AIO.

    I just got the H5 flow RGB since it’s on sale for $80 and comes with 2x140mm rgb front fans, 120mm bottom angled fan and 120mm back fan. Going to install a kraken elite 240mm AIO and I’m sure the thermals won’t be any issue. @jyynarpalisenniemi6242 I bought it for a build recently and it's performed really well. I like the cable management system as well and the solid bottom makes it Easy to put in a GPU sag brace if you need one. Get good thermal results as well with a Ryzen 7 7700x and a RX 7800 XT. I'd recommend an AIO set to exhaust out the top to get more hot air out. Doesn't really affect cpu temps much

    1:18 In the classic layout, with intake at the front, GPU shroud at the bottom, radiator at the top and exhaust at the back, the air from the front is simply not enough to cool the GPU. That's why the GPU sucks in partially preheated air from the direction of the CPU and unfiltered air through the expansion slots. Because the latter isn't possible here, the bottom fan was added. But since in the classic layout - not only in this case - the air isn't supposed to escape at the bottom back, the solid layout doesn't "trap air"!

    I genuinely don't understand reviewers complaining about cases that don't come with every fan slot pre-filled with the appropriate-sized fan. I especially don't understand bemoaning temps when they've only left the 2 or 3 120mm factory-fitted fans.
    Nobody buys these cases without also buying proper intake and exhaust fans.

    • @TechHunterOfficial
      @TechHunterOfficial  Год назад +1

      I agree, a lot of people are buying these cases and adding their own fans later. But there are other case options which include more fans or better fans for similar price points.
      Why not praise one company like Bequiet for using high quality off the shelf fans in their cases, but not call out other companies that make great fans and fit their cases with the worst fans they make?
      I did also fill in the front with 2x 140mm fans though to see the differences though...

    • @razorwireclouds5708
      @razorwireclouds5708 Год назад +1

      @@TechHunterOfficial An H5 flow is about €90 here in Berlin. The only BeQuiet case at that price point is the PURE BASE 600. Given the optical drive slots and HDD trays, I think we can both agree the 600 is hideous a pile of scrap designed for yesteryear's PCs. Anything higher tier like the DARK BASE 701 or SILENT BASE 802 are well over €150.
      Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending NZXT here - their shitty stock fans are genuinely worthless and shouldn't even be included. However, you are getting a lot of smart design, high quality materials and genuinely high-end build quality.
      So I'm just saying maybe your expectations are a bit too high and that it would make more sense to measure case temperatures once you've fitted every fan slot with a proper fans. In any event, I liked and subscribed. Keep going, m8 💛
      *adendum: having solid PCI expansion slot covers helps rather than hinders airflow.

      I appreciate it. Ironically the German company sells their 500 FX for about £120 ish in the UK. Which includes their top of the range light wings fans (I've got one in for review soon 🤞🏻) we'll see how the rest of it holds up though.
      I get where you're coming from. Though if you replace every terrible fan with an amazing noctua fan then it's harder to determine if the case is performing poorly or the noctua fans are overcompensating.
      I guess in the future I'd like the idea of both. Here's your factory scenario (stock) and here's what you could have (6+ 140/120 top of the line noctua/arctic/phanteks fans)
      It's definitely something I've toyed with and might look to add in the future for sure.
      Appreciate these comments that test my brain and my methods :)
