I think they patched this game out to where you can't just spam the hook anymore. He's pretty much bouncing all over the place now and I even caught him jumping out of some of the bubbles. This boss fight is really getting to me.
Just beat this game. I loved it but towards the end I got it a little monotonous and the platforming is bad but the graphics were awesome and I had so much fun with it. Definitely hoping for a sequel
The "uber" versions of Cicero they added in the boss rush mode are insane. It's so weird watching the regular fights again after suffering through the crazier versions.
If you play on normal difficulty. You'll get a cutscene after credit that Lady Q is still alive she toke the spark next to Cicero's body. Our hero is still unknown though.
I've seem people cheesing with the rope weapon a lot, lol I understand, but to use the fist against this boss is pretty cool, the fact Cicero is wide open for the charged punch (one the very first skills you unlock)... that's cool gameplay design man, awesome game. There is some jankiness here and there, lack of polish... but it's very minor. Hope Metroid Dread is at least at the same level
I hope to see a sequel for this game. I bought it to show support. It’s a very unique game even though it’s flawed. But most first games in a series have some jank especially when they’re from a small studio. Usually the sequels are what perfect the gameplay. I only played through this game once, but I’d be willing to give a sequel to it a chance.
@@godssouljer Naah, not really. It's ironic how FIST was more metroidvania than Metroid itself. Who would imagine such thing, the pathways in FIST actually branches and you can choose were to go??? It's mind blowing. Meanwhile Metroid Dread is extremely linear. I assumed Dread was supposed to be at the same level, but it was actually worse than FIST. Even with the bad level design, at least the fluidity and combat in Dread are pretty decent (it could have used more buttons tho, instead of the 3DS control schemes)
Man before fighting him I got way too over prepared, I used Ki Blast and Spammed the down jump fully upgrade fist slam then I proceeded to unload all my rockets and he was already on its third bar. Did a couple of combos, ki Blast again and he was donezoe. Finally a Metroidvania final boss that isn't a bunch of BS. Loved this game
One of the most epic boss fight in Metroidvania. It's so intense if you know how to play. of course if you didn't spam that whip special and cheese the ai.
This was definitely played on easy. Cause goddam, my bosses had god speed and you can’t just run up on them to get extra hits, you have to keep on dodging his attacks like your life depends on it, just so you can time it right. 😮
I would say this game is waay more than a decent game. I could say ots a pretty good 2.5 d metroidvania game pair with other games like ori and hollow knight.
I'll say it's better than most Castlevania. It lacks all the BS you get with those games, the constant grinding, perverted anime stuff and God Forbid Dark souls style punishment for dying.
I finally beat Cicero today and..... OH. MY. GOD. The amount of frustration I experience in both fights with very unpleasant, the final Cicero fight in particular being a HUMUNGEST pain in the arc, it took me..... no joke...... two hours.... to beat....... TO FUCKING HOURS TO BEAT A 2D BOSS FIGHT!!!!!!!
Played all the game at normal, then turned to easy after trying to beat Ciseron hundred of times. I almost managed to beat him on normal difficulty (just the first phase) but it was getting very stressful...
The game itself is fun but man is the story weak. They have a ton of lore in this world but nothing is ever really explored. I hate the mindset of well it will be explained in the sequel but the devs never think of if their game will do good enough to have a sequel. How about make a satisfying conclusion then build up the game in the sequel? By the end of this game I didn't care about any of Tue characters and the lady q "death" was so out of nowhere and underserved because we literally know nothing about her. Plus Rayton and Ciceros rivalry makes no sense. We get one cut scene where they are friends but now they're enemies? And cicero wants to make animal machine hybrids? Um ok but why? The story never picks up its just here's a bad guy go beat then game over. No interesting character relationships or anything. The bunnies rivalry is never explained. I though rayton and lady q might have a romance or something but they barely talk to each other.
We can only pray the next one goes more in depth but if I were to guess they probably didn’t wanna write a complex story because that would take a lot of time and money(Not Making Excuses For the Dev team just assuming there mindset)let’s hope this game sells well enough for a potential F.I.S.T 2 cause we definitely need that ending explained
Awesome game, the first battle against Cicero I beat him on Normal difficulty but his second form.. I died like 50 times, I reached halfway through his final health bar but I was getting very frustrated. I switched to easy and I beat him on my FIRST try.. The game starts easy and continues to be, but then it quickly jumps to very hard halfway through the game and almost impossible at the end.
Doublechecked it right now: nothing changed and Cicero still fighting like a few mounth ago, it's just your low skill issue. Practice and you will beat him.
The same here damn it. Cicero is my 2nd hardest boss ever in gaming. First is Valkyrie queen from God Of War 2018, but there i was max out at everything. Against Cicero i am average at best - the health, energy and the rocket pistol 3 shots.

Epic Ending? It was literally a flashback of one sitting and one watching....I'd call that half baked.
This was one of the least enjoyable boss fights I've ever encountered. In fact, the whole second half of this game was straight booty.
