Hell yeah! All I needed to see. Pull up or down. I have an 06 A3 in the shop. Manual doesn't even tell you how to remove it, just remove it. Sprayed the whole thing, slid back and forth and POP. Thanks for the video!
Had the same experience removing the plastic cover and working it from side to side repeatedly eventually brought it free - thanks for that. I was able to remove the security bolts by dressing the heads flat(ish) with a file and then drilling the heads off. I used a 2.5mm bit for the pilot hole and then a 6mm bit removed the head easily.
i have a b6 a4 1.8t and i want to go stage 2 do i need a test pipe or the “down pipe” with the flex pipe on it because upon looking to buy one i have found both
We are currently located in Saginaw, MI. Personally, I would choose the new tsi 2.0T A3 instead of the old fsi A3. Both are great engines, but the timing chain engine made a lot more reliable power.
Definite thumbs up because swearing is fun. 😊 So what I'm after is actually the relays for the radiator fan. They are in fact under there somewhere, correct?
Just pop the washer jets out of the scuttle trim, (they are sprung on plastic clips) and pull sharply at the same time with equal force, with your fingers in the slots of the removed jets, they pop right out of the windscreen slot in a warm workshop. You are being too timid with it, it is laughing at you. You got your own back though by grinding wheel medium going straight into the open intake 😖!! And the hole ground into the ecu cover 😱🤔
