- Acura just released a new service bulletin regarding the popping speakers that seems to be a common problem on the new Acura TLX. Definitely take it in and have this bulletin performed if you are experiencing any of these problems.

Fakra adapters have been replaced three times. After numerous trips to Acura- they finally replaced the radio harness and fakra adapter. Each time it would go away for a couple months and come back. I was told on the 2021 tlx, the harness was installed with to much tension. The radio harness was replaced and re-routed to not have tension at the fakra adapter and have not had any crackling when accelerating. They also found a bunch of loose grounds. It’s been a year and no issues with popping or crackling when accelerating. Just a heads up if anyone is going on 2nd or 3rd swap of fakra.

Wow I just took in my car for this issue on the 8th. They did refer to a new service bulletin but I'm glad my timing was good

I have heard there is a tsb about this. You can disconnecting the battery but I think they have to replace some connectors

Ok. I think these service bulletins are covered no matter what. I would ask your dealer
