My main reasons I like the SRT jeep is 1. The steering wheel, 2. The 6.4 sounds amazing exhaust note wise, 3. You can touch 11s naturally aspirated, 4. It’s cheaper, 5. Dual exhaust, 6. Red brembos 7. 6.4 once forged pistons and rods can make 1300whp.

I agree with you about the Trackhawk NOT standing out from the SRT. I love the Jeep SRT8 dual center pipes. Since Jeep did discontinued for the SRT models, they should have brought it back for the Trackhawk.
For the cost of the vehicle, Jeep should use higher quality material for the interior dash panel, which often peels.
I cannot figure out WHY the JEEP SRT front license plate isn’t centered. The side location takes away from the look of the vehicle and is just hanging there.
I like the interior lighting of the newer Mercedes and the lighted car emblem that projects onto the street, next to the vehicle.
I know these may be considered fluff, but both would be a good look for the Jeep SRT and/or Jeep Trackhawk.
It’s a stop n go license plate holder so it looks like it’s just hanging freely but it can easily be removed for car shows and pics but I’m usually just too lazy to do it. It looks better on the side then the front imo. I wish new York didn’t require the front plate cause I honestly hate it. Debating just removing it entirely and taking a chance with cops.
I agree they could have done some cooler stuff for both models but it’s all about what’s under the hood. Just gives me a reason to customize it to my liking lol.

Yea the 22s aren’t bad at all even driving on these shitty roads. They look good too since the Jeep is so big but the squat on the 20s is what I miss!
I just turned 30 and I'm in a lease (I've always leased) until March 2023. I'm already looking at SRT/Trackhawks to buy when I get out. To be honest - it's smart you bought this one as it won't count against you like a lease does when you go to apply for a home.
The problem is used SRT's are similar cost if not more than cars like a used Porsche GTS, New Model Y, etc. It's hard to swallow "but it's a v8" when you're facing that lineup.
Yeah I couldn’t lease one of these the payments were just ridiculous cause they lease so poorly. Used SRT was my budget since I was buying a home and I couldn’t be happier I mean I’d love a Trackhawk but with time mine will be just as fast and built how I want it. Hope you get one the used car market right now is crazy and now that they announced no more SRT engines these cars will hopefully increase in value
Bro what? i’ve never leased a vehicle. I personally never saw the value in it. It always seem kind of scammy right from the beginning when you’re putting down all that money upfront on something that you’re just renting and I’m not educated on obviously cause I never leased ,I don’t know all the rules but I always like to modify my shit and I know people do modify their leases I just didn’t want to deal with that headache. But this is the first time I’ve ever heard of it affecting you applying for a home. How does it do that
@@TRICKYBYRD When applying for a mortgage, underwrites look at car loans vs leases completely differently.
A lease payment, as you described it is exactly that - “rent”. At the end of the lease, your vehicle is worth $0. When you own, underwriters look at it as additional equity (although cars are a depreciating asset).

I'm 18 right now and really love the trackhawk and SRT i have about $15k saved up so far but i don't feel like I'm financially stable for a commitment of monthly payments like these, started from 0 last year at 17, no parents, no house, no license, new country and nothing but $200, for now I'm just enjoying others with their beauty's till it's my time, keep it up tho ✌🏽

I say definitely save more brother and get the car if if truly makes you happy. I had a scat pack at 20 working a normal job, i first saved 28,000 in 2 years by myself and threw 10,000 down with payments a 300 and had insurance under my parents so it was low around 200. It all depends on your situation bro but this market is a bit fucked Rn so at least when the time comes look for the right deal. Good luck brother 🙏💙 And I now own a CLS63 but would deff get the SRT before a trackhawk jus cause a JEEP with 700 Useless. SRT procharged is the right around a stock trackhawk for 10-20K less. me and you are very similar. I'm 27, bachelor, have a pretty decent job and I'm into cars but I don't earn enough to just go all out. You hit the nail on the head when you said "budget baller" lmaoo. I'm trying to save up enough for a down payment for BMW X5M. Its an addiction once you hear that V8 and get to experience how fast it is. I want to stand out and be unique too. Lago_SRT you are a smart man and think exactly the way that I do. I have a 2014 GC SRT and love it. Even though my wifes Trailblazer SS is faster I still love my SRT. Good luck with yours and keep us posted.

Lago_SRT keep the build vids coming…doing it blue collar old school style is a hell of a lot more fun and satisfying when you Cruz your car than just buying it in my experience. In my opinion I think you dodged a bullit by not getting that HellJeep. I just picked up a 16 with 47k miles and a part timer just for the sole purpose of dumping a stupid amount of money into this thing and not feel it. I’ve done this all my life with all my builds and let me tell you man…it’s pretty fuckin cool riding around in a built machine. Keep up the good work

Smart guy. Take care of life expenses first, then the fun stuff. I traded in my last muscle car for a 5.7 Challenger Classic with a 6m. I wanted to drive a stick again. I paid my dues(old guy) so I just bought it straight up. Slowly modded it not to look like a hot wheel’s freak but mechanical. Prices are rising too fast. 1.5 years since I bought my Magnuson SC and they are 2k more!

I make 81k a year at my primary job and have a rental property that pretty much covers my mortgage. Definitely couldn't afford even a SRT. I've a 2007 4runner right now 😁 trying to get a 2nd,3rd rental property so in 3/4 years I can get toys. Keep grinding and enjoy what you've got ignore the haters and happy birthday 🤙

Hey man I appreciate that! I pretty much go through all my mods in the videos but to break it down I was on air suspension which was a kit by air lift performance, 22 inch velgen wheels with lionhart 305/35/22 tires.

@@awalehb I believe I saw someone running 315s on their jeep but I’m not positive. Air bags are the winner for me the ride comfort is amazing and love how you can adjust it. Sits perfectly when riding around you can air it up fully if you encounter some bumpy roads and bag it when parked or at a car show or if you just want to show off lol

I just came across a new 2021 Trackhawk at a dealership about an hour and a half away from me. $122,000! 🤯
I mean, yes, sure…it would be incredibly fun to own. But not in any way practical for 99.5% of the population. One, how often could you *actually* put it to even 50% of what it’s capable of? And two, put that money into appreciating assets. Very few people actually have the disposable income to afford that kind of vehicle. For those who do…good for you. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and/or luck and good fortune. But most people can’t even really afford the $50,000 vehicles that they’re driving.

I’m 23 just bought a condo(so building equity) and have 2017 Audi A4. I’m thinking on trading in my A4 for an SRT but am questioning how much space is in it. I’m 6’6 245 lbs and my A4 is cramped to all hell. I really like srt but I don’t wanna pay an extra 20k if I’m not gonna be comfortable, and also how is the power stock? My Audi has stage 1 APR tune and gets 0-60 In about 4.5 so I’m just wondering do you think it’s worth it to trade or should I stick it out in the a4
Damn for 23 you’re doing great and there’s plenty of space in the SRT it’s a pretty big SUV so definitely will feel like heaven compared to your A4. Stock I got the SRT 0-60 to 4.7 and with prime conditions you can probably get it to almost 4.5 so plenty of power and enough room to lug friends and family around with no issues. It’s an amazing suv in my opinion

got my 2017 absolutely fully loaded destroyer gray charger hellcat in 2019 from security dodge, small world lol....GREAT dealership they replaced my defective $2,000 radio a month ago for $200 complete with free install! everyone else was asking ~$2k install included. currently 22.5k miles on the hellcat, bought it with ~21k miles.......but bad ass jeep! have a black fully loaded 07 srt8 w/ 58k miles on it as of today and NOT selling
You got some nice rides! Wish I could afford more than 1 at a time but maybe in the future lol. Security is a good dealership and they always have some crazy cars on the lot. I like the old school srt8 the used car market is crazy and eventually all these hemis will most likely be worth even more once everything goes electric.

My SRT Cherokee has a built 6.4L from HHP/BES Racing, unfortunately not a sleeper with the Cam in it. What Lowering Springs do you have on your Jeep ? Also if your interested I have a low Mileage D1SC ProCharger with Race Intercooler for sale. May be keeping her N/A and not boosting. But let me know if your interested. Already have @$20Gs into the engine and redoing suspension/lowering, and some customizing, etc. Den

As a fellow Jeep SRT owner, what you have is enough! I have a used 2014 and haven't had any major issues with it, except maintenance upkeep. It's a strong vehicle and does me good and nothing against the Trackhawk owners. In my opinion, unless you're heavy into drag racing, how much power do you need or can you use on the highway?

I currently own a 2012 mustang 5.0, 2019 mustang 5.0 pp1, 2019 Raptor supercrew with custom bed rack that holds extra spare, 10 lb powertank, max trax extreme boards, pro eagle big wheel 2 ton jack, beaver shovel (my bed is basically useless now), and a 2021 jeep Trackhawk.
I can afford it so it’s no problem. I absolutely love my Trackhawk. It’s insane! The launch is insane. I’ve beat so many cars on roll races too. On a freeway roll, it’s actually only a little faster than my 19 5.0 pp1.The supercharger whine is addicting. I absolutely love the Trackhawk. I’ve never owned a vehicle that has made me this happy. Never. And I’ve owned a few sports cars. It’s just the fact that it’s a big comfort 707hp suv.
What I do not like. I hate the ugly Trackhawk emblem in the rear. I’m getting it ceramic coated Tuesday and will have them apply 2 Trackhawk emblems on the side (just like the Durango hellcat has). I want to buy another emblem for the front. I just don’t like the lack of cool emblems. I’m not an emblem freak. But I need something nice. I initially hated that the brembos were yellow. But they grew on me day 1.
Look at the prices now. Markups are insane! Markups are 25-50k now. Lol! I had to pay 4k markup but have zero regrets.
Good for you man! Trackhawk is an absolute beast and if I could have went back and done it again I think I would have just waited a few more months saved up some more cash and got one myself. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve launched it!!! Lol!!!! I leave it in sport mode daily. For no reason. Yeah, I would not buy a used Trackhawk. Everyone that buys one beats on it. I live in SoCal and trying to find a new Trackhawk is like trying to find a 4 leaf clover. California hates gas guzzlers. I bought my 2019 Jeep SRT because I realized really quick that using 707hp on SoCal freeways was a joke. You never make it past 35mph hahaha. I'm happy with my buy. It cost me about $80k when all was said and done. I'll be installing a Procharger in the near future. Happy birthday. I'll turning 40 in a few days :(
Lol a good Trackhawk with low miles is hard to find over here too. It’s a lot of sketchy dealerships who got their hands on them. Totally agree there is no point to have that much horsepower on New York roads either I’m usually in bumper to bumper traffic and if there is open space you can bet there will be a pothole coming up or a cop waiting for your ass lol. 40 is still young man! Dude, since Dodge is not longer making SRT’s I’m looking for one since they’re holding there value a LOT. 2015-17 are going for about 60-65k sheeeshh. Although I’m not quite sure of getting one because of them being used and most of us that have fast cars we always step on them.
Yeah you have to be careful I’m pretty sure the guy who had the SRT before me beat the shit out of it and was putting regular gas in it instead of premium and most likely why I ran into issues. If possible try to get a really low mileage one or have some good extended warranty on it like a certified preowned. The used car market is crazy Good luck!

Ha. I had a 94, ole boxy, then I had had a 2004 absolutely decked out and got t boned. Still my favorite car ever and that was damn like 20 years ago now and I have always always wanted the srt It was just always had a reach with the gas prices getting crazy like Ty they did for the first time I just never bit the bullet but I finally did today. I can’t wait to get it shipped in and I’m pretty sure this will end up being my favorite, but yeah, pretty much got the same Car story with some randoms in between.

I’m with you I got a 15 srt jeep I spent 11k on a procharger set up I’m about to forge the 392 then I can make 1k hp I paid 42k for the jeep so 10k for motor 11k for procharger so I’m still 20k under price of a stock hawk

Yup I’m a new subscriber now I was thinking of getting a Jeep srt or trackhawk but my friends were saying nope definitely not a trackhawk where in the hell are you going with that in NY lol but a co worker of mine has the glc amg & another just got the basic glc 300 but features are insane. Honest opinion guys I’m 23 always been in love with scats but it’s so much hype on them police pull them over everything I thought about getting a 2014 srt jeep just to pay off them trade in to get something better bad idea ?
A used jeep SRT should hold its value pretty well but if you can wait to save some more and get the better ride I would. If I could go back I would have just saved up more and got a trackhawk. Cars also aren’t great investments imo but I’m also financially irresponsible when it comes to mopars lol

I had a shop install it I’d recommend finding a good mod shop
People can call me a brokie or whatever but honestly, anything above 600-700+ horsepower is really unusable in the street. I wouldn't wanna spend a whole lot of money on a car I can't even use most of its potential with and that's why I really like that these Jeep/Durango SRTs and Charger/Challenger Scat Packs are available, at least when it comes to Mopar

@@Lagolifestyle I was able to rent a 2015 SRT in June and that was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever driven. God bless Turo because that thing was incredible. I was actually driving on the Taconic towards Bear Mountain and Woodbury when a trooper stopped me and gave me my first ever ticket lol, I seriously need to get one eventually because the speed and practicality combined is just too good of a package

I bought mine because I couldn't see spending another $30-40K basically for a different motor, I could spend less than that and build my 6.4L to make the same power. I do all my own motor work so I can save a ton on labor, just need a shop to dial my mods in.

@@Lagolifestyle currently I'm saving for a forged bottom end along with a new cam, something with a lob but not to aggressive. I have a set of headers and green cats that will be going on in the spring and changing out to a full 3" exhaust with 5" tips. I've also been doing some research on putting a hellcat supercharger on it because it's a little more unique then doing a whipple.

Agreed, to me the srt n traxkhawk has always been pretty much the same thing if you don't got it like that then it's definitely not worth trying to go broke owning a track.
I'm gonna try n finance a 2014 srt for the first time I got 20k saved up n make 1300 a month currently. Gonna upgrade it little by little like u The goal for me is to get it to 500hp.

It was just an average of 8 I think I didn’t do too much driving on the highway so probably closer to city mpg. To fill up was around $100

I had to do it my man YOLO. I’m lazy and got older and don’t feel like dealing with the building process anymore. I barely have time away from kids so I just went travkhawk route. But either way SRT is a nice turbo build in my opinion.
