KH2FM - Larxene Data No Damage (LV1 CM)

- Larxene is a nightmare at LV1. Everything will kill you. EVERYTHING. You have to be literally perfect. Since this is my first LV1 video against her data version, I'm using Reflega. And after doing this I have a feeling it'd actually be easier to dodge roll the damn lightning, just like her AS form. When she's low on HP her Thundaga attack changes a little to where Reflegaing twice doesn't seem to stun her. I still haven't figured out how to get around that part, but I got lucky in this video. Larxene somehow didn't do her Thundaga attack once the entire time, except of course at the beginning. Oh and some other time in the middle. I have no idea how, but it was luck.
Her DM is much easier to dodge with Glide. It's actually safer to Glide than to spam Reflega, because Reflega timing would have to be very very accurate. For her second form, don't sit there and let her do her joint attacks, that wastes time. If you're fast enough, Dodge Roll the joint attack and immediately attack a Larxene. If you're lucky you'll get the RC move. Just beware of their counter attacks.
For the first part, try to do Finishing Rise when the other teleports right next to you. If you time it right, it will do MASSIVE damage. I'm talking almost a whole bar of HP gone just from that finisher, at LV1 too. Imagine if you were at LV99. Look at 0:45 if you want to see what I mean.

It's 50 minutes long, but trust me, it's worth it. I seriously do not think I've seen a worse KH2FM player on RUclips. The best fight is the Xaldin one. You'd think after running into his shield 500 times that he'd get the clue to stop doing it.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.
Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.
Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.
Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.
Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?
A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. I got the Swap Magic 3.6 + Slide Card deal at thegiantstore.com. I also bought KH2FM at play-asia.com
Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.

Well damn, this is a blast from the past. I remember I was OBSESSED with these vids when I was in high school. I’d watch them early in the morning and just spend all day geeking out with my friends at lunch about how insane these challenge runs were.
Also 13th Reflection should’ve been remixed for Data Larxene in Re:Mind

I actually prefer her Japanese voice.
In the English version she sounds smug and has an attitude that she's better than you.
But in the Japanese dub she sounds like a crazy bitch, which at this point I was too use to it already.

Playing the ps4 version and AS Larxene absolutely destroys me in standard mode. 😂😂😂😂
He's playing on Critical Mode. That gives you around 10 Support abilities when you start the game, including "EXP 0", which is the way you stay at level 1 to begin with.
As for the Growth and Action abilities, they are all gained through Bonus Levels ; you get them by defeating a certain boss in the story, not by leveling up.
Oh, and it also shows "1" as his level, so yeah, he's level 1 alright.
I used to watch this MANY years ago in high school. Oh, how envious I was with people who were able to play KH2FM back then!!!

I'm still surprised that her reaction command does no damage to her.
funny thing i just found out, genie is immensely useful in this fight (especially at final form O_o) Summon him when she splits up into clones and watch the hp drop until her dm then resummon him after she finishes up and let loose his limit again. Use reflect if he isnt in final form yet so you dnt get hit. Of course i dnt know if this was due to my magic stat being high(used 10 mag boosts for the shrooms) or if he is just insanely strong =/.

How come Sora has Doge roll in the Japanese version? I am replaying the KHII game, this time on the remixed edition. Still no dodge roll.
In order to get dodgeroll you need to level up limit form hun.

@aracuscesar once more and second chance are gained from level (and Donald can't learn it which makes a lot of the data battle tougher when you want to use comet or final and he dies) but it wasn't needed as the uploader took no damage

Original 2FM on PS2 had English voices with only the new Org fights having their JP voices since back then English voices for those fights didn't exist until the PS3 version was ported.

For some reason... it would seem really fitting to remove both Donald and Goofy from the battle. Well this one, because they can't stop getting K.O.ed
But then, at level 1, getting K.O.ed is easy so they can't rally help it lol.
They are gained through Level up.
Also, why would you hate CM? Proud Mode is after the 3 Time far too Easy...

I tried this when I was Lv 13 and I got owned. I should probably wait till I get reflect and learn quick run or dodge roll.

ikr I never get these level 1 runs. they always gain more health. They could have health charms and equipment but they wouldnt have enough space. plus you would gain max hp for critical you would get a little bit. someone please explain how this person has so much stuff at "lvl 1"

@@juice1443 I know this is 3 years old but on lvl1 you still gain armor/charm slots and ability from defeating boss or finishing encounter not like kh 1

shimabukurohikaru The invincibility frames you get from a successful guard are just long enough for you to survive that final strike without taking damage, allowing you to start another combo on her
