So I’ve been wasting resources all week building my Cascade as quickly as I can? 😭😭😭😭😭
I don't think it's wasting 🙃 but I know what you mean... it depends of course also on your level. For starters he could be very strong because of missing defensive upgrades 🙂 and we don't know what they have planned. But generally you have to invest again in the other "now bad heroes" 🥲
I think they will really boost him soon, or add skins. He’s slow to start, but he could be amazing!

Although he is given some interesting skills and stats, I'm totally not impressed with Cascade for now. He's way to squishy, and definitely needs more health, defense or armor before you can put him in GC defenses... Most interesting Cascade line I found was Julius Yasmine Sebastian Cascade Aidan. Or even Kayla instead of Aidan. Maybe next year...
In my opinion kayla could fit but she doesn't really 😂 the backpushing is bad for her. Yes, let's see 🙃
After cascade use his 2nd skill, he sometimes stop at a weirdly high position, making him being extremely vulnerable.
His 1st and 3rd skill are pretty weak, their damage is way too low are the debuffs does not stay long enough
The only thing he's good at is his basic attack, but he attack at a very weird rate, making him doesn't have very good timing with either Nebula or Tristan
He needs a lot of time to do significant damage, but all the current meta teams are way too fast for him.
In conclusion, a strong hero that came out at the wrong time

I realise its probably not a great combo, but I like that at battle start Cascade picks up Dorian's aura in ODH.
And for a tank, Asta or Rufus?
Asta has then the better protection
@I’ve had good luck with Luther taking hits for Cascade, also Ziri!
Cascade rush will couple with aracne, as she would paralyze entire front line
Yeah I tried ADA or without Dante, was not great against meta
Speaking of fixing factions - Hotfix for Mystics would be to move Satori to third position instead of second, just by putting Maya or Celeste in front him and it would have been solved from bigger part right away.
What problem would that solve?
The position is okay. That allows to ult different timings
@@Coerced It would make healer to charge faster, also it would cause that Satori wouldn't be eating frontline dmg. Both aspects would give Satori some extra time and survibility.
Second option would be that Satori's ult wouldn't consume Satori's marks, so he could ult two times in a short time like Artemis.
@@founik Satori needs to ult before the enemy team. A more rearward position would hurt him for that reason. He needs to take dmg
@@Coerced I don't think so. I mean dying without being able to ulti is even worse in my opinion, but who knows... tough to say without trying. Putting second tank if front of him is not a good use, cuz it reduces amount of Mystics in team. Unless you have Ziri, but I don't have her in this moment.

The one that worked the best is because of faction synergy. I’m not sure why you could not figure out a full mystic team with cascade . . .
cascade is not good actually (endgame)
thanks to Octavia we have to use more often maya and heidi but you won't find cascade there :D his debuff is too short for the "big" synergy. if it would be a permanent skill then it could be great :)

I’ve tried Cascade, Mya, Dante, Jorgen and Luther. Or I swap in Satori too. They did alright, Luther took most of the damage to give Cascade a chance to Ult. What do you think? I’m not the best team builder!😂

@@herowarssuddendeath That’s fantastic! I’m not sure if I should leave him at four stars or use the rest for his fifth star or buy equipment for my second team? The next star booster goes to finish Martha, so it will be awhile until he gets one. I think his skins will be amazing!
Just for clearification the right side are the cascade teams, so nearly always lost 😬 dantes dodge and a good blind into artemis ult made here the 1 win 😅

TBH, it seemed obvious that Eternity needed the new hero. Probably a tank or other hero to make Eternity less Corvus reliant as he is the very-easy-to-hardcounter hero. Mystics, especially Maya and Heidi needed reworks as their entire faction lacks any form of synergy. They're almost all counter heroes that don't really fit well together.
In stead, they have doubled down on Maya and Heidi's designs by adding Cascade that is now looking to boost them in particular. It's a big mistake in my opinion. Right now, they created a hero with the same design flaws as Maya: jack of all trades that weakens your team, and Heidi as well: damaging very weakly, charging and benefitting the enemy team. They will have to boost stats like crazy to make any of them viable or still create ANOTHER new hero for Mystics now in order to give them any synergy at all. It's like Cascade is just another problem for that faction. And meanwhile, Eternity still have the least heroes by far and also lack options... Nexters, what are you doing!?
I think, for eternity, they should rework Corvus, instead of adding another hero.
@ why? I think he's great vs many teams but shit vs others. Makes him niche and only good for attack, which I think still is fine. Eternity just needs more defensive options as well now. Mystics have 3 tanks, just give Eternity a 2nd one

Reworks happen often, so I'm waiting for the next one and heidi is probably the next one

Is cascade a counter to Julius?
Counter would be too much because if the def stats change, it wouldn't be a triple hit anymore. But cascade is a good option for combining some heroes to kill him quickly at the beginning 🙂
I used him in a corvus - Morrigan - iris combo, not extra ordinary, but Definitely helped iris have more time because of displacement, and silenced overcharged enemy, due to iris damage out put.
I tried iris too but I couldn't see that crazy power. He dies so quickly but I know what you mean 👍
I added dorian as fifth hero. Helps to keep him and Iris alive to do some good damage. So Corvus Morrigan Iris Cascade Dorian
Maybe try Andi instead of Morrigan, but she seems very usable with undead.

@@herowarssuddendeath Moin mir ist heute bei dem Event eine kombo aufgefallen, die es glaube echt in Sich hat. Falls das noch nicht getestet hast
JJI + arachne und Fuchs. Wird ein endloses stunnen, blenden etc. Also die Angriffe verlaufen, nach einem Ablauf der Skill bar alle in den Sand. Vom Gegner kommt kein Angriff mehr durch
Ja, alles JJi combos sind echt gut 👍 habe mit deine combo gegen kaylaAdianFafnir und jjig fafnir verloren.
Probier mal bisschen Ginger Fafnir Tristan Julius Luther, macht echt Spaß 😅
@@herowarssuddendeath habe die Tokens leider schon alle verbraucht. Gab aber manche Gegner die damit echt witzig waren. Gegen JJI Sebastian Ginger hat es dann aber auch verloren

needs Jet / Sebastian with them as well in order to penetrate armor at all, which makes it an extremely squishy team that still falls to the same counters as with DS and doesn't win vs any new teams by adding Cascade. In other words: Cascade doesn't make any difference.
@@Coerced no need for Sebastian just jet. Nothing ground breaking but does outperform E3D vs progress teams and some TAF lineups. Wouldn’t say worthless if you’re running daredevil comps

Cascade's usage is very limited at this moment. He seems to counter Julius, at least something that he can be used for.
However as somebody mentioned here already. A whole Mystic faction needs a rework. Maya and Heidi are way too average to make a good team. Satori can be deadly, but he is too squishy.
I thought Cascade will be there for two reasons - Slow down enemy team to give Satori extra time to charge up. And to damage enemies enough, so Satori will basicly just finish the oneshot.
Unfortunately that is not happening.
