The only names I recognized was Arachne and Aurora It would be nice if you made a walk through of the first heroes you meet, when you start playing, so you can plan ahead. And a walk through of the different ways to make them stronger. E.g. You said very nice thing about Auroras forth skill but what I mostly experience is her dieing a lot.
Was actually quite a lot better than I thought it would be. Leaving Iris off was smart, she's an amazing hero but for most teams that are using her there are actually much better options. I do think Isaac could have been dropped from the list though, not because I don't like him or think people should work on him, but he's been deprecated quite a lot in the past few years, and has always been highly situational. If there are no mage teams to face, he doesn't serve a lot of purpose other than PVE like Osh. I also do agree with Aurora in #1, her upgraded abilities and boost to dmg capabilities changed the game this year vs the abundance of Dante's out there. Was a bit surprised Heidi wasn't on this list, one of the best heroes out there and so few counters to him, especially ones that are broadly popular and leveled up to necessary strength. And I think the sleeper this year is going to be Julius hands down. He's a total weird hero but his variety of skills and interactions with other heroes makes for some immensely powerful teams. He really is keyed in to countering a lot of popular heroes and configurations, and having another hero to cure in a unique way is also immensely powerful... Honorable mentions for sure: Iris, Polaris, Thea, Rufus, Dante, Amira (I'd actually put Amira in the top 5 for bringing back Mages to most servers and her counter strengths).

I see now that I should have made an honorable mentions list at the end and put him into there. I still think Isaac deserves to be either in the top 5 list or in the honorable mentions list not only because of the reasons I mentioned in the video but also because of how strong Aurora is nowaday. I feel Isaac is a great way to counter her. About Julius: He's a strange hero and his abilities can certainly provide a big surprise when paired with the right heroes! He even seems useful as a baby hero - it might even be more efficient to keep him as a baby hero. So I'm not sure I'd recommend leveling him up at the moment. I need more experience with him though.

Dante is like an American muscle car... everyone like it and want to have him... he has great power on straight road, but you'll never know on which turn he might slip out.
I agree this one truly best HWtuber, since this channel showed me the math of Dante when it was still called "Hero Wars that Worked for Me", it makes me want to build Him along with Nebula on HW Mobile, since Seb there is just a mere bearded man with a broken guitar.

DPS gives demage and are the most important heroes in offensive team but who gives power to team and make the rules are the support heroes :) I could suggest you to do video about support heroes and tanks giving more demage than DPS heroes? (it starts with aurora, isacc and corvous how it will end?)I think it will be a nice subject :) And a explicit video to talk about defensive vs offensive teams.
Apparently, Iris is coming to the Hero Soulstone chests this February. That removes the concern about Iris's soulstones, as they can be acquired (at least 50/month) even if you are not in a Clash of Worlds guild

my list would be 1. Dante, 2. Iris, 3. Aurora (with Cain), 4. Seb, 5. Rufus Dante is definitely first for defense for unpredictably dangerous attacks. In order to beat teams a lot stronger in power Nebula or Celeste are the queens if you have good synergy with them. I wouldn't recommend Isaac and Arachne for main PvP team. First 3 are Misty's 'holy trinity', yep it's great but nothing new

Great facts and good points to back up why they are good. I would add that, to be truly objective you should disregard how hard it is to get the hero soul stones because you should be evaluating the hero's performance in battle. You could also explain why dante and ishmael didn't make your list or an honorable mention

@@pablo1123ify Hey, Dante is on a lot of arena defense teams, yes. But this game is much more than just arena defense. PvP offense is different than PvP defense. And PvE is different, and adventures are different (yes, there are some players for whom adventure 13 is easy, but for many it still is not). Also, I can see all top 50 arena teams on all servers. The Dante team you mention is just one variation. For example, many teams use Rufus, many also use Iris, some Ishmael, some Martha. Yes, Dante is quite common in arena defense. But that doesn't make him a top 1.

@@senolghost1165Martha's ult only speeds up the team. But with that speed up you basically get instantly too often. Martha blue skill is what heals but it can be destroyed, which is why she has to keep spamming first skill. Still tho better healing than Thea

She was the last Winterfest hero. If you started the game after that (end of last year), you haven't had a chance to get her soulstones yet. It might be a while before her soulstones are available from another source (Soul Atrium or Hero Soul Chest or shops - nothing announced yet).

Hey, I am really happy with what I started: Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian, Iris, Heidi (medium power Martha or baby Dorian also works great instead of Heidi). Be prepared though that this team needs some time to develop. Dante teams will shine much earlier if someone focuses heavily on Dante. I hesitate to recommend Dante though as I think A LOT of players will go for Dante on newer servers and it will be hard to stand out against them in pvp.

Unfortunately, I'm in early - mid game of the game. (Server 242) And at this stage of the game, Top 5 are: Dante, Dante, Dante, Dante, Dante... As he ults faster than everyone else, and when he ults, he one shots 4 of your members. He one shots those top 5 you listed even easier. I think mainly because Dante users only need to invest in 1 hero early on, while to defend against dante, and not be 1 shotted, you need to build up the HP and DEF of all 5 heroes.(Since his ult is AOE) Therefore Dante is the biggest Pub Stomper in the game. Especially early on. The top 10 in the arena rankings still have some room and not plateaued yet, but it is getting close to the plateaued point. I am slightly out of top 10 in arena, and I only use female heroes, I hope I can hang in there long enough to get past Dante's strongest point in the game until he falls off. Edit: If you were to ever make a video of the strongest early/mid game heroes, Dante tops the lists so hard, number 2 to number 5 aren't even close.
Yeah, Dante is pretty annoying on defense, especially when paired with Rufus. But I feel and hear from others that Dante is pretty RNG-dependent on offense, which makes him unreliable in GW/CoW attacks IMO. Being RNG-heavy makes him good for defense though. I need to think more about early/mid game heroes. Have you watched my Dante video? ruclips.net/video/FZTxREe5UOU/видео.html It might help but you need a decent axel and oliver for that and also a strong Aurora with cain. So it takes a while to get there, and like you said, it's unfair that Dante users only have to focus on one hero. Then again, if you don't focus enough on Dante, he's not that great. The good news is that once you are strong enough against Dante you will beat the majority of players on your server till they invest into Rufus :D. And to counter Rufus you only need to invest a bit into Morrigan.
@@CorneliusSecretsGreat insight, but then can they decide to grow Isaac instead of Rufus? But very fortunately there is Boss Seb to make Dante Nebula combo unusable.
in current meta you avoid magic heroes : they are bad in campaign, they are bad in osh fights, they get easy countered in arena or adventure. In theory they should be good against dodge, but a single hero can counter a whole magic team. So you are left with a dodge or a crit based team. You only level one of the support heroes to counter a whole magic team
@@tobikage_forever7853 I'm also working on Nebula at the moment. She's a great hero and I think there will be pretty good combos of Nebula with control heroes and Polaris (thanks to Nebula's energy removal).
You put Aurora on top? I don't think she deserves her 1st place. The reason is if opponent also have Aurora, it is very effective to counter any Aurora team. When both side have Aurora patronize with Cain, and the offender bring in Isaac, there are chances rainbow halo resonance triggers which will grant a quick death to all heroes of the defending team. But I'm not sure it is generous among the players.
At the beginning she is weaker than some other tanks because she needs quite some dodge and if possible a Cain that is at least of violet rank to shine.

Hi Buddy, I’ve got Iris and Polaris. how about Mushy, Clive and Crovns, I spend too much gold and resources built up 3 or 4 tanks😂. Finally start building Sebastian and Dante, or Yasmine. Do you recon I should abandon all the tanks I have and start build Aurora or maybe simply start another account? I barely have any gold or exp boost left. Or I should keep those what I’ve and slowly build the ones you recommended?
Hey buddy, as long as you have fun with the game I would not start a new account! Even if I think aurora currently is the best tank it could still be that one of your tanks is considered the best in half a year. Things change in this game. But I would pick one of your current tanks and focus on him instead of building all 3 at once. I find it tifficult though to tell which one is the best. They are too different and all useful in their way. So pick the one you like the most and you feel who works well with your other heroes. Sorry for typos. Writing on mobile.

Hey, both are strong heroes but in my opinion not top 5. Yasmine has many counters (every hero has counters but Yasmine has more than those in the video). She is very useful in adventures and campaign mode or other PVE content. So this really helps newer accounts. In PVP she can still be useful in endgame battles (power-wise), but to me she seems much more limited than the heroes in this video. If you build a team around Dante he is very strong for sure.
that is a the pain of this game, good heroes although not 1 year but maybe 2 years of development is needed for a low spending players. This game would be so interesting if it would not be such greedy. I guess the time comes to every player when the question has to be answered, if this game worth years of grinding.... btw, I need an advise, in Grand Arena, one of my team is Iris-Celeste but there are lot of yasmines on this server and Iris is vulnerable to yasmine. I'd like to change this team and add a yasmine counter, but I don't want to spend too much resources on helios. Any good advise how to counter yasmine in "cheapest" way? Imean to develop a hero what I can use elsewhere not only against yasmine.
Hey, glad I got something for you: have you tried putting a baby Dorian behind Iris? It works wonders against Yasmine as the vampirism aura together with Iris constant damage output really makes her much tougher (unless you get one huge hit like from Dante)
@@CorneliusSecrets thanks the idea. It works perfectly, I upgraded the vampirism skill on Dorian and used the Martha event to develop a bit. Their is an annoying kayla team and kayla used to kill iris but with dorian Iris healed 1m :) and it was a victory. I still have to test against yasmine, but it is was a very good idea. I started to develop Dorian already but I was not aware that such efficient.
I think Polaris has a fatal flaw, her magic defense is very poor, almost the same as a warrior with physical attacks. And there is almost no room for improvement, so that any magic attack could easily damage and even kill her. Unless she get a New skin.
Good observation. Her magic defense is indeed something to keep in mind. For attacking this might not be such an issue as you can bring Thea or other heroes that buff magic def. But for defending with Polaris this might be more important.

@@Mihawk05-10 The team I use the most on all my accounts is: Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian, Iris, Heidi. BUT I would not recommend for you to invest into Heidi if you havent started so already. Maybe do that later if you developed Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian and Iris already. As fifth hero I would use a very cheap baby Dorian in defense or a Martha with a bit of investment (maybe around 70k power). For attacking Arachne/Polaris will be very useful I believe. Depending on who you attack baby Dorian is also great for attacking: His vampirism aura helps your Iris to survive Yasmine/Kayla and other back row hitters - not a very strong Jhu though - thats too much incoming damage ;-).

I actually think personal preference is quite important because the fun you have in the game also depends on your personal preferences right? One hero might be (my) top 5 this year and top 10 next year. The game is constantly changing. As long as you keep having fun with him, he is the perfect choice!

Aurora is only strong vs magic damage and when you have high dodge. With low dodge she just dies a lot

Hey, Dante is on a lot of arena defense teams, yes. But this game is much more than just arena defense. PvP offense is different than PvP defense. And PvE is different, and adventures are different (yes, there are some players for whom adventure 13 is easy, but for many it still is not). Also, I can see all top 50 arena teams on all servers. The Dante team you mention is just one variation. For example, many teams use Rufus, many also use Iris, some Ishmael, some Martha. Yes, Dante is quite common in arena defense. But that doesn't make him a top 1.

He's certainly a useful hero, but don't invest too much in him! He's useful even with little investment. Your resources are better spent elsewhere.

@@senolghost1165Martha's ult only speeds up the team. But with that speed up you basically get instantly too often. Martha blue skill is what heals but it can be destroyed, which is why she has to keep spamming first skill. Still tho better healing than Thea

She was the last Winterfest hero. If you started the game after that (end of last year), you haven't had a chance to get her soulstones yet. It might be a while before her soulstones are available from another source (Soul Atrium or Hero Soul Chest or shops - nothing announced yet).

Hey, I am really happy with what I started: Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian, Iris, Heidi (medium power Martha or baby Dorian also works great instead of Heidi). Be prepared though that this team needs some time to develop. Dante teams will shine much earlier if someone focuses heavily on Dante.
I hesitate to recommend Dante though as I think A LOT of players will go for Dante on newer servers and it will be hard to stand out against them in pvp.

I think that is a strong combo. Many will go for Dante though. So be prepared to have a lot of mirror matches (or almost mirror).

Unfortunately, I'm in early - mid game of the game. (Server 242)
And at this stage of the game, Top 5 are: Dante, Dante, Dante, Dante, Dante...
As he ults faster than everyone else, and when he ults, he one shots 4 of your members.
He one shots those top 5 you listed even easier.
I think mainly because Dante users only need to invest in 1 hero early on, while to defend against dante, and not be 1 shotted, you need to build up the HP and DEF of all 5 heroes.(Since his ult is AOE)
Therefore Dante is the biggest Pub Stomper in the game. Especially early on.
The top 10 in the arena rankings still have some room and not plateaued yet, but it is getting close to the plateaued point.
I am slightly out of top 10 in arena, and I only use female heroes, I hope I can hang in there long enough to get past Dante's strongest point in the game until he falls off.
Edit: If you were to ever make a video of the strongest early/mid game heroes, Dante tops the lists so hard, number 2 to number 5 aren't even close.
Yeah, Dante is pretty annoying on defense, especially when paired with Rufus. But I feel and hear from others that Dante is pretty RNG-dependent on offense, which makes him unreliable in GW/CoW attacks IMO. Being RNG-heavy makes him good for defense though.
I need to think more about early/mid game heroes.

It might help but you need a decent axel and oliver for that and also a strong Aurora with cain. So it takes a while to get there, and like you said, it's unfair that Dante users only have to focus on one hero.
Then again, if you don't focus enough on Dante, he's not that great.
The good news is that once you are strong enough against Dante you will beat the majority of players on your server till they invest into Rufus :D. And to counter Rufus you only need to invest a bit into Morrigan.

But very fortunately there is Boss Seb to make Dante Nebula combo unusable.

in current meta you avoid magic heroes : they are bad in campaign, they are bad in osh fights, they get easy countered in arena or adventure. In theory they should be good against dodge, but a single hero can counter a whole magic team. So you are left with a dodge or a crit based team. You only level one of the support heroes to counter a whole magic team
Isaac is indeed very strong against magic teams and as such also against Aurora.

I'm also working on Nebula at the moment. She's a great hero and I think there will be pretty good combos of Nebula with control heroes and Polaris (thanks to Nebula's energy removal).
You put Aurora on top? I don't think she deserves her 1st place. The reason is if opponent also have Aurora, it is very effective to counter any Aurora team. When both side have Aurora patronize with Cain, and the offender bring in Isaac, there are chances rainbow halo resonance triggers which will grant a quick death to all heroes of the defending team. But I'm not sure it is generous among the players.

At the beginning she is weaker than some other tanks because she needs quite some dodge and if possible a Cain that is at least of violet rank to shine.

Hi Buddy, I’ve got Iris and Polaris. how about Mushy, Clive and Crovns, I spend too much gold and resources built up 3 or 4 tanks😂. Finally start building Sebastian and Dante, or Yasmine.
Do you recon I should abandon all the tanks I have and start build Aurora or maybe simply start another account?

Hey buddy, as long as you have fun with the game I would not start a new account! Even if I think aurora currently is the best tank it could still be that one of your tanks is considered the best in half a year. Things change in this game.
But I would pick one of your current tanks and focus on him instead of building all 3 at once. I find it tifficult though to tell which one is the best. They are too different and all useful in their way. So pick the one you like the most and you feel who works well with your other heroes.

Why it dont have dante,yasmine?
Hey, both are strong heroes but in my opinion not top 5. Yasmine has many counters (every hero has counters but Yasmine has more than those in the video). She is very useful in adventures and campaign mode or other PVE content. So this really helps newer accounts. In PVP she can still be useful in endgame battles (power-wise), but to me she seems much more limited than the heroes in this video.
If you build a team around Dante he is very strong for sure.

that is a the pain of this game, good heroes although not 1 year but maybe 2 years of development is needed for a low spending players. This game would be so interesting if it would not be such greedy. I guess the time comes to every player when the question has to be answered, if this game worth years of grinding.... btw, I need an advise, in Grand Arena, one of my team is Iris-Celeste but there are lot of yasmines on this server and Iris is vulnerable to yasmine. I'd like to change this team and add a yasmine counter, but I don't want to spend too much resources on helios. Any good advise how to counter yasmine in "cheapest" way? Imean to develop a hero what I can use elsewhere not only against yasmine.
Hey, glad I got something for you: have you tried putting a baby Dorian behind Iris? It works wonders against Yasmine as the vampirism aura together with Iris constant damage output really makes her much tougher (unless you get one huge hit like from Dante)
@@CorneliusSecrets thanks the idea. It works perfectly, I upgraded the vampirism skill on Dorian and used the Martha event to develop a bit. Their is an annoying kayla team and kayla used to kill iris but with dorian Iris healed 1m :) and it was a victory. I still have to test against yasmine, but it is was a very good idea. I started to develop Dorian already but I was not aware that such efficient.

I think Polaris has a fatal flaw, her magic defense is very poor, almost the same as a warrior with physical attacks. And there is almost no room for improvement, so that any magic attack could easily damage and even kill her. Unless she get a New skin.
Good observation. Her magic defense is indeed something to keep in mind. For attacking this might not be such an issue as you can bring Thea or other heroes that buff magic def. But for defending with Polaris this might be more important.

The team I use the most on all my accounts is: Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian, Iris, Heidi. BUT I would not recommend for you to invest into Heidi if you havent started so already. Maybe do that later if you developed Aurora, Celeste, Sebastian and Iris already. As fifth hero I would use a very cheap baby Dorian in defense or a Martha with a bit of investment (maybe around 70k power). For attacking Arachne/Polaris will be very useful I believe. Depending on who you attack baby Dorian is also great for attacking: His vampirism aura helps your Iris to survive Yasmine/Kayla and other back row hitters - not a very strong Jhu though - thats too much incoming damage ;-).

I actually think personal preference is quite important because the fun you have in the game also depends on your personal preferences right? One hero might be (my) top 5 this year and top 10 next year. The game is constantly changing. As long as you keep having fun with him, he is the perfect choice!
