Clearly they are individuals here that don’t understand the basic mechanics of law. You don’t get behind the wheel of a car and crash somebody because they’re running away. That’s it people it’s a simple as that they were our punishment and the punishment should fit the crime. Crushing someone with a car does not fit the crime of running away. And the warrants were not for murder or anything like that he had a gun several years ago that he was not supposed to have in his possession because he didn’t have a license.

The police are not authorized to punish people, so the appropriate punishment does not matter. The police used deadly force and all that matters is if the situation was threatening enough to justify use of deadly force. Depending on the situation, use of deadly force can be justified against a shoplifter while in another case no be justified against a child predator and murderer. In this case, it does not appear it was justified.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Stop assuming you can just run from police if you're black and then play the victim card when things go south. The trooper was wrong to do what he did and should be dealt with according to the law.

First I'd like to say I absolutely detest this AG lady which I consider worthless to the real world we live in. and that being said, Charging him with murder is a over the top of common reason. There's many mitigating circumstances at play here and lets not forget the MSP were the Good guys chasing the bad guys so in that context this man died due to HIS poor CRIMINAL choices. I think it's a travesty of justice to go after the good guys when one of the bad guys dies. THEY know the rules of the street; "Play with fire there's always a chance you'll get burned" He did and I say Oh well....shouldn't have lived the hood life. Lets also consider all the fine things this fine felon would go on to do later had he lived.

Or maybe if he let the other police who were chasing him on foot apprehend him they were right behind him you can see them on the video. Too bad this cop had a rush to judgement when he isn't a judge. I hope he thinks about this when he's in prison, he should have stayed retired.

I’m really tired of trial by media. People need to respect the process. We have gotten into revenge, instead of justice. Five years should be the max for sometime who messes up the first time. The sentences that get carried out are way too long. We are basically giving too many people a death sentence. We have gotten out of hand with sentencing. It turn into a political tool for judges to brag about for reelection. 😊
