After hearing a lot about some of the terrible things that Brendon has done, I decided I would no longer be listening to his music, but I felt like this is the perfect moment to cry while listening to the band that made me who I am for the last time.

I think music should tell a story whether it’s helping people feel important or needed or expressing why they feel they’re not (important or needed). I feel that when you can imagine a scenario whether the situation is relatable or not is such a rare and beautiful thing. So when people ask me why I love the bands that I do I don’t necessarily say that exactly because I feel as if no one understands but hearing this and reading the comments brought this perspective into view. At first I felt like I shouldn’t share these feelings and just keep them to myself because no one will know exactly what I mean they may vaguely understand but not feel as I do so if you are like me just realize that there are people who find fulfilling joy and love through music just as you and I.❤️
