If we used YOUR logic on skiing everyone would be required to take a test on all of the laws on skiing. @@Nick-eu5lr Also you are totally right that people just go too fast before they are ready, but as you get better youre going to try going at higher speeds. Thats something that takes practice and will cause a lot of falls while trying to pick up your speed.

Everybody just relax. I have been skiing for 25 years and switched to boarding 4 years ago. I have been collided into and collided into other people, too many times to count. Skiers collide just as much as snowboarders. Remember we are all here to have a good time, but the sport does have the inherent chance of collisions. Just chill

The only time I would get angry is if someone went extremly fast and collided with me and not being sorry about it. Has never happaned to me duing my 10 years of skiing in Sweden though.
Guy at 3:40 was 100% in the wrong. Holding a Go-Pro, not paying attention to people downslope, going too fast without being in control; he caused that crash. So many of these oblivious tourists think they're great athletes when they're really just oblivious.
I had an adult skier crash into me at full speed when I was a young child. It hurt horribly. My dad was furious, because we were resting on the side of the trail in a slow zone and he couldn't stop and just slammed into me. From my perspective, one moment I was just standing there, and then it was like getting tackled by a large man, hit with his skis, and thrown down the hill. For those saying people shouldn't get mad over this stuff, it can hurt really badly, it is the thing most likely to kill or injure you during skiing, and it can almost always be prevented with proper respect and controlling your speed and self-awareness. None of these collisions need to happen, and most of them are due to people not taking seriously how bad they can be. Its great and all fun and games if you are just two beginners learning and bump into each other when going down, but when its a full speed crash of someone who doesn't have control slamming into you when you don't expect it and think you are safe, it is something you can't always just walk away from. Be careful out there, respect your fellow skiers and riders. We all want to be able to enjoy the mountain until we are old.
