Beautiful! This is how you do black and white. The only thing I would have done differently is instead of 2 artwork pieces over the headboard I would have chose on solid large painting .but that's just me.
I started the video without looking....why when she said, “my name is Ann”....I said, “who the heck is Ann”?....I finally looked down and said, “oh that’s babe”. 😂

Great transformation! Would love a video on what some of your favorite white paints (and undertones) are from different brands. Cools, warms, neutrals. SW, PPG, BM, etc... Whites are so difficult to do!

What a great makeover!! I’m not a black and white girl but when a design is good, it’s just good! It was definitely well thought out and presents very cozy and welcoming on camera. It’s also good when a partner adds their input. I never knew Ann(e)‘a name.. She’s babe in YT world! Great job!

I was thinking the same thing. It caught my attention immediately. Love it!
@@pinapple5290 if I were to guess, I'd say fabric was dipped in paint and shaped on the canvas. Very rustic. The black one is probably the same technique but linear. Eventually Kiva will be able to mount and hang the drop cloth as art. 😁

I really like matching furniture pieces, many times people try to use different pieces and it looks disjointed and cheap.

Those both are actually DIYs! I used recycled paper, glue and white paint for the white one. I used hot glue and black paint for the black one! Thank you so much!! 💕💕

Def not a fan of this just black white and gold tones SOME designers are trying to bring to 2021/22. Its very boring and COLD looking . Not cozy or welcoming at all. Of course just my opinion.

I have a similar mantel from Amazon but arrived in beige instead of white, I kept it due to it's bueatiful presence. How did you paint it and how long did the whole process to finish the entire mantel.

Hey Kiva! The room turned out beautiful (as always) but I was initially really thrown off by just HOW low profile everything is (like it barely reached your knees it seems!) I was just wondering, with ceilings as high as yours, do you do this because it's more luxe or is it just more of a personal preference?
