- Suspended In Time es una canción grabada por Olivia Newton-John y compuesta por John Farrar al igual que todas las canciones del lado A del Soundtrack de la película Xanadu, estrenada en Junio de 1980.
Aunque la pelicula no tuvo el éxito que se esperaba, la música creada para esta por John Farrar (lado A) y Jeff Lynne de la Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) (lado B) logró doble disco de platino en el hemisferio norte y un reconocimiento indiscutido mundial hasta el día de hoy.
Suspended In Time no fue un single del álbum Xanadu y eso mismo la hace una hermosa joyita para muchos fanáticos de Olivia por su riqueza melódica y armónica y todo lo que tiene aún por descubrir.
Se las regalamos con mucho cariño nuevamente para todos, y que Olivia y todo su legado de belleza y sencillez vivan por siempre.

Are all of you fans of hers or just the founding members of the band? Pregunto por el guitarrista delantero. De todas maneras muy buena interpretación de este tema que no es fácil vocalizar afinadamente. Lograste la mezcla de suficiente aire y voz que le daba la distinción a ella naturalmente. Ella colgaba la nota alta en ese medio perfecto entre cabeza y pecho con sutilidad y suspiro casi. Le da el tono aireado y de tercio pelo. Buen trabajo, Christina, en mantenerte fiel a esa sutilidad de la canción. Uno nunca puede igualar exactamente el sonido de otra voz, pero los detalles de estilo, ajustes en modulación y control del aire como vocalista hacen una diferencia importante a un cover… no es necesario cambiar algo hecho sublimemente ya, inclusive el arreglo de Farrar. Es la única forma de rendirle homenaje bien. Great job, everyone. I’m sure you got a little flutter care bug there. 🤍👋🏻

Inclusive te ajustas perfectamente al tiempo de cada nota, cerrando cada frase justo como ella sin alargarla como muchas hacen para lucirse como vocalista. Saludos 💚

Impresionante... Son geniales... La interpretación e instrumentalización es fantástica... La voz, increíble... Es escuchar a Olivia en la forma de entonar, de emitir su canto. No soy músico, así que opino sólo desde mi propia percepción amateur. Creo que ONJ es una gigante con un legado inconmensurable. Desde sus primeros temas hasta sus últimas grabaciones. Son de una riqueza musical inmensa. Hay tantos temas para rememorar, que hasta me da ansiedad el saber que ustedes podrán abarcar en sus trabajos gran parte de este acervo... Solo agradecerles por entregar tan interesante y genial hazaña. Como alguien a quien le gusta mucho el rock setentero y el Krautrock, especialmente creo que Olivia representa lo mejor del pop/folk/rock de tres décadas. Abrazos y muchas gracias!!!

Hola, son las 15:30 aprox y los acabo de ver en Tv+, ustedes, tal como dijo el presentador, son una banda de alto nivel, Cristina eres espectacular, los músicos son excelentes, me encantaría verlos alguna vez si vienen por antofagasta, se nota mucho trabajo para llegar a ser lo bueno que son, cierro los ojos y eres la dulce olivia.
