NYCT & MTA Bus Company | 1995-96 Novabus RTS T80206 Review [Remastered]

In 2019, this was my first review to be at least 1 hour long, surprising😨. Now this remastered version is 26 minutes long. Do you guys like my thumbnail ? This is all thanks to Photo Room(an app for an easiest background erasing), it is available for both Android and iOS.
Anyways, this is the review of the first Novabus RTS' that are the best predecessors to the later Novabus RTS'. They are memorable for the exotic power with accelerations and mostly and impressive, the air starter wheezes. They are also the 2nd in history and first Novabus RTS' to have alcoa rims and black decal schemes.
Personally, I have experiences with all of these out of not only East New York Depot, but Flatbush, Grand Ave(briefly), Ulmer Park, Fresh Pond, and depots in Manhattan and Queens too. My favorite part was my journey of my uncle working and hauling one of these RTS' out of East New York Depot. This is how I always like him drive RTS', and even the RTS' are his favorite buses of his job too. Even I wish to rode the Cummins M11E RTS'(9140-9149), I did not have Fresh Pond routes near me since I moved from Canarsie in 2009 until by 2013, the B7 had moved to Fresh Pond. Especially, those Cummins powered RTS should've lasted longer. By 2015, the 7000s XD40s and the 8000s LFS that replaced these are the prodigies of the 1996 RTS', but those RTS' still have offered high values. 9048 is my main favorite because of the Series 50 EGR it got repowered to, which is more efficient and modernizing speed and strength . I also wish I had seen and rode 9048 back then as my most favorite unit in this series, but oh well. Laguardia Depot is the ruling MTA Bus Co. depot because it is the last and only depot to have the remaining sets of 1996 RTS' lasting longer than it should(not up to 1999 RTS retirement). If they were maintenance killers still, these would've never serve us well and ruins the milestone. Laguardia improved their maintenance since 2015 to be honest.

I love how these busses sound, and how fast they went. Thanks so much for this. I also Lived in Canarsie, I used all the area busses The B6, B17 B42, B60, the B82 (then B50) and the B103 (both Command and MTA Bus)

Ahh yes, I remember riding multiple of these busses in Flatbush depot on the 44. I remember riding these in UP and ENY on the 45 and 82. Up routes were the B36 - 74. I have so many memories riding these in UP and was my personal favorite until the 1999 nova busses came (5076 - 5124) zf units. When I heard that I got goosebumps those things were loud. Rip these busses I will miss them.

I like the sound of the DDS-powered engines better than the Cummins-powered engines. However, on modern buses (2004 and newer), I prefer the Cummins.

I actually consider old school buses 2004 and older, medium as 2004-2016 and modern as 2017 and newer.

your ayciyen of course you like toyota, RTS is like the Diri djon djon to me nothing beats it love that you know your shit...sounds like a air starter with the wheezing there... any idea if the zf transmissions were any good? how many miles were on those series 50s engines before they retired them?
