      @mastermousemice6940 7 месяцев назад

      @@Narko_Marko Satan was created as a high ranking Angel who decided to reject God and empty himself of all the good God had given him.
      Satan was not made evil by God, it was totally Satan's own decision to rebel.
      Evil isn't a created thing, nor is it something you give, it is the absence of something, an emptiness, like darkness is the absence of light or cold is the absence of heat. Certainly Satan is much more powerful than you or I, but he isn't a God, he is comparatively weak and under the authority of God.
      We humans are also evil, independent of both Satan and God we do wrong because our human nature is to rebel, just like Satan.
      Don't get it twisted. Satan condemns no one to hell, he doesn't rule hell or have any authority there. it is his prison and it will be yours if you do not put your faith in Christ and repent. Clearly, humans condemn themselves to hell because we reject God and his mercy through Christ.

      This was taken from the book of Moses, i.e. it was made up by Joseph Smith, so yeah, not Biblical at all. Though honestly, it seems like something Lucifer might say. Notice how in his own words he seeks to glorify himself and replace God as the redeemer of humanity. So, in essence, he commits the greatest sin of all. The video just reinforces why God would be justified in expelling Lucifer. 😄

    Lucifer looked upon himself but kept his rebellious thoughts secret for a long time. Jesus was not 'one of God's sons', but the son. I understand why people worship Lucifer, because he is the author of doing what you think is best. But that concept is being played out, and it is not going well. God will be vindicated, and his righteous principles will be proven just. As is shown by every example of his leadership, Lucifer will agree that he is not a good guy.

    I'm glad I'm not the only person who knows that Lucifer wasn't the bad guy, but there's a lot more to the story than what's said in this video.
    First, "Lucifer" isn't the name of the devil - that comes only from one, single translation called the Vulgate, penned in around 380AD by (later St.) Jerome. "Lucifer" is Latin - luci- from lux (light), and -fer as in transfer and confer - i.e. to transfer to bring. So, Lucifer is the "Bringer of Light". The "bringer of light" is the "morning star", known to us as the planet Venus. If you live in the iron age world of the advent of Christianity, then you frequently see Venus follow the sun down in the evening, or heralding the coming of the sun just before sunrise (the bringer of light). This happens because Venus's orbit is inside the Earth's orbit, so it will always appear somewhat in the direction of the sun (never in the middle of the night). Jupiter, for example, is up in the middle of the night frequently, and you don't typically see it transiting the horizon just before or after your nighttime sleep - on the other hand, Venus would seem like a "falling star" or "light bringer", and was known for that in many astrological traditions, not just the Judeo-Christian mythology.
    So, Jerome was translating a metaphor at Isiah 12:14 wherein a king of Babylon "fell" or was "laid low" to become a common person. The word Jerome chose from Latin was the name Lucifer in the metaphor, and that Vulgate translation was subsequently used for other translations, including notably the King James Bible, and these subsequent translations took it as a literal name rather than a double entendre inferring a relationship to the planet Venus in the story of the "fallen" king.
    Aside from that, Lucifer doesn't occur in the Vulgate Bible and many subsequent translations of it - that's the only specific reference to "Lucifer". However, if we reach a bit outside canonical texts to e.g. Milton in Paradise Lost, we can read it in the way the medieval author intended, in a world where loyalty to monarchy was seen as a virtue; or we can read it from our own post-Enlightenment perspective. If you read it from the original perspective, God put down a rebellion of angles led by Lucifer, as should any monarch. From our perspective, however, Lucifer was leading a democratic revolution against the autocratic, authoritarian regime of God, and the democratic revolution failed. As they say, the winner writes the history, so it's no surprise that Lucifer might be portrayed in God's war propaganda as a "devil", though he was a leading angel and very close to God before the democratic revolution.

    "Behold, here am I. Send *_ME. I_* will be thy Son and *_I_* will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely *_I_* will do it. Wherefore, give *_ME_* thine honor." 😈
    By contrast, Jesus seeks to do the will of God alone and give all glory to him:
    "Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever." 😇
    There was no "good intention" here. Satan committed the greatest of any sin. Expulsion justified. Good job, God. ✅

    I derived from the Bible that Jesus (the bright morning star) and Lucifer are the same being and the god of Moses is the bad guy. Trying to bind is to the law of sin and death.
    I agree with the title of the video though: from what I've read Lucifer (Jesus) IS the good guy 🙂❤️🙏🏻

      @@mrcleant401 nah, Yahweh/HaSatan was on the earth walking to and from, even seeing Moses "face to face". Even though Jesus said "no one has seen the father except by me"
      This takes us to what you brought up. JESUS says "I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning"
      But ISAIAH (a prophet of Yahweh/Satan and who is NOT Jesus)says "oh how you have fallen oh morning star" trying to call Jesus the enemy.
      Frankly Isaiah is NOT Jesus so I'm siding with Jesus.
      Jesus did also say that "ALL that came before me were liars and thieves"
      I hope this brings more clarity 🙂
      God bless you 🙏🏻

    There's no where in the scripture is that. Lucifer was full of pride in the beginning, he has no intention to save mankind, he wanted power above heavens and wanted to be like God, that's why God put consequences in his proud heart by bringing him down to the deepest abyss and subjected him for eternal punishment, he and his companions.
    God hated that demon so bad because he's the one who brought sin into the world and perverted God's perfect and good creation, that's why we must hate these demons and his works with all our heart just like how God hated both him and sin.

Eve had a conversation with the serpent about what tree specifically they weren't allowed to eat from, and a part in the Bible where God gives out Adam's punishment, which is worded specifically like He did in fact have a choice in the matter. God was not forcing them to not do it, and they acted of their own accord, chose to believe the serpent, and did what He told them not to do. That is free will, which is the will to decide for yourself and believe what you wish to believe. The point is that when knowledge comes, sin follows.

      What makes the God terrible?

    • @BananaGeekLord
      @BananaGeekLord 7 месяцев назад +1

      @Dtj344 imagine believing the scriptures.
      As to what makes God terrible, I could write an entire book about it. In fact, people have. So I'm not gonna go into everything. Instead I'm gonna go with my personal favorite store.
      To start with, imagine you're being mauled by a bear.
      No. Really. Put yourself in that situation. I know that can be difficult, but just try.
      How is that? Seems a bit scary, no? And painful. Those paws are bigger than a human hand, and the claws at about as long and thicker than my fingers. That shit has to hurt. And you're not dying right away. Or at least most likely not. You're gonna sit there and suffer for at least a minute or two.
      Now image having that happen as a child. Imagine how much worse that must be.
      Imagine being a parent and having their child go through that. Do you have kids? Look at them and imagine learning that they were murdered by a bear.
      Now imagine if it was also a group of their friends. A bunch of kids from the neighborhood just attacked by a bear. You and all of those parents losing their kids.
      And this is by a wild animal. I'm not gonna downplay a school shooting, but maybe that would help you in a way. But the point being that this was just an animal that came out of nowhere and just killed some kids.
      Now, final step, you learn that it wasn't random. Those bears are trained. And the bears were given instructions to kill the children. Think of what kind of person would do that. Think of what kind of sociopath that would be. It would be all over the news and people would be calling for their death. The electric chair. Injection. Firing squad. Maybe even just take them out back and get it over with. Because the kind of person who would kill 30+ kids with fucking bears does not deserve to live in this world.
      ... You see where this is going, right? That person is your God.
      No no no no. Don't pull away. If you actually tried and you actually put yourself in someone else's shoes for once, and you realized how fucked that is, that's the God of the Bible. He did that. Not metaphorically. He did it. This wasn't me making a story to trick you into picturing something terrible, and then it was gonna be a different terrible thing. He did it.
      And I get wanting to pull away. I was a believer once. I grew up in the Mormon church. I didn't grow up thinking this. It took me years to come to the conclusion I did. And I'm not trying to convert you. You asked for an adult answer to a complex subject. I'm answering. All I ask is that you show you asked in good faith.
      So, back to the story. One of God's prophets was going to a town when a bunch of kids shouted our "Go up though bald head!" On one hand, maybe that's a good translation and the dude was bald. As a bald dude, I might have a second where I say "Fuck them kids" to myself, but I'm gonna move on with my dad. I would be pissed at someone for so much as hitting them for that.
      But maybe there's more to the translation and the insult meant a bit more. Maybe they were making fun of him for being a prophet. That's still some kid shit. Their brains aren't even developed yet. If they were adults, I still wouldn't say they deserve to die over it. People kill each other over shit talking all the time, and I think that's barbaric.
      But God's not like that. God had 2 bears go and kill the kids. Without looking it up, I want to say it wad something like 34 kids. Dead. And then the prophet went into the town and told those people they needed to worship his God.
      I choose this story because I think it's a bit easier to grasp. When he commits genocide, it's a bit harder for some to really internalize it. Let alone the concept of eternal punishment. But having kids be brutally murdered in such a fashion for being little assholes? You think that's fine? No?
      Well that's God. And that's just an example. I think it's a good one. But that's just a part of the reason I view him as evil. Why I would rather go to hell or "outer darkness" for all eternity than be in heaven if he's real. I don't even want the bottom part of heaven where we are still expected to praise him.
      "But you will think differently on judgement day!"
      Why? Because I'm afraid? Why should I be afraid of such an amazing God? Kind of sounds like he really is the character from the story with the bears.
