Caddx preemptively did a 20% sale so naturally I snagged the Goggles L for $159. PS. You'd be lucky if DJI N3 goggles supported O3 Air unit from the factory. G3 did not.
Hi Stu - you are my fpv guru and I salute you sir. Just about everything I have learned has been soaked up from you. FPV jargon and tech made no sense to me when I started my interest in fpv. You have helped me so much gain a better understanding.
Been DJI FPV for about 5 years now. Such an improvement over analog when I changed over. I am able to fly a lot of hours every year and have not had any failures on my DJI equipment that was not my own fault. Don't necessarily like the company but sure like the equipment. I appreciate some of the new digital offerings but will stick with what has worked for me so well, for so long.
I have just started watching your videos again after a 7 year break (I think) from drones and FPV! Gotta say you still look good man and it's great to see you still helping the community! Unfortunately I sold all my analog 5" quads, my 3", my 6"… taranis and fat shark HD goggles ect years ago. I still have lots of spares but I guess these are outdated now as the hobby has advanced so much, everything is digital! Instead of building this time I have decided to buy the Avata 2 fly more bundle and the stick radio. I know it's going to be slow and boring but it gets me back into the hobby again relatively stress free 😂
I have v2 and 03 . I was looking at getting into hdzero but the goggles are double the price of dji . $1200 ausd just for goggles . We race with dji in wa . So ill stick with dji / vista for racing for now
I fly digital and analog. But IMVHO analog is still the best system to get started. Cheap, fast, light, reliable, open and with the propper cam it looks nice. Of course this is all subjective :)
I think we’ll see DJI pushing the front end of digital quality (meaning regular updates, less backwards compatibility and less likely for a smaller air unit (unless it’s repackaged old tech ie vista). I know everyone says DJI stomps all over everyone else’s signal, but flying HDZ or analog I don’t have any issues… when I fly DJI with someone else my signal gets really bad.
I recently watched your cheap fpv kit video. could you please make a video as a guide for beginners explaining how to set up and bind the walksnail goggles, radiomaster pocket and the mobula 8
Hey Shawn same setup I am interested in. I have the pocket and practicing on sims. I wear glasses so the avatar L goggles are no good for me. So I have to get the more expensive goggles x version, this is holding me back for now. Anyway good luck with everything.
I wish I could get into digital, its just way more than I'd like to spend. I don't even think it would matter that much to me. If I where to get into it walksnail would be the system to use in my opinion, DJI is too big a company already lol.
If I buy the walksnail HD goggles and the radiomaster pocket, which cheap drone should i buy to start as a newbie? I'll upgrade to a nicer bigger drone later. Elrs? Great videos! Thank you!
I'm going to get these for my broadcasting googles cause I also want the neo and it's cheap as hell for the bundle. Neo a great camera guy for b roll and that.
@@UAVfutures yes was just about to purchase and then saw this video 😂 I was building and flying drones back when we took apart Wii controllers and complied in Arduino I left the hobby in 2018 & was flying alot but work ect got in the way. Now I have much more spare time but obviously my kit is all analogue so was going to do the digital switch, looks like things have progressed alot in the last 6 years 👍
I like dji for freestyle and the cool goggles Designe but they are no good with long range. But I will buy walksnail goggles x and some 2w vtx coz I heard they are excellent with long range even some people done 50km. But walksnail goggle design so outdated which always deterred me from buying it.
Hey Sir Which is better walksnail digital kit for walksnail goggles L under 12k rupees please tell me I am confused because my dad not give much money 🥲🥲
I don’t want to buy into the DJI infrastructure. I am going to pick up the Walksnail Goggle L for my son and I.
This would be my choice as well. The walksnail system has come a long way
@@UAVfutures Really appreciate all you do bud, the good guys do win in the end and the future is MEGA bright!

Hi bro just want to ask.. should i buy the goggles L or the avatar x.. I've already had the vrx

mobula 8
Pavo 20 pro, I fly it with Moonlight and it's amazing.
Mads Tech said DJI seems like they interested FPV again and they going after Caddx/Walksnail. I am thinking they going to be $199 I say.

Hi Stew, Great video and info on these digital systems.
I've got funds put aside for the new system .. cant wait til the drop.
Could be interesting im just getting back into the hobby and looking yo go digital

what is outdated?
I used to fly but I lost everything I used to use dji air unit

will it have av in?
Of course it won't. 😂
Maybe better for 5Inch and fixed wings
Man those are SO chonky.
€ - Euro £ - Pounds €250 - £208 - $270 US - AU$408
Plus gst . Prob be 499 or 599 knowing the local markups
have fun with the air unit 💀
709 Elody Bypass
The photo of the O4 unit says "pro" which suggests more than one model of O4
It's quite obvious that the one from Avata2 will be the "pro" version and the one from Neo will be the "lite"
@@kmieciu4ever no, no it's not. The photo shows a digital vtx that has both 20x20 and 25x25 mounting hole patterns.
Which clearly isn't needed, if the pro version comes inside an avata
