6 kids? Two F91W should do. They're a great hand me down. My uncle loves the fact that I can gift his son the same watch that he handed down to me 16 years ago. The nephew's not going to appreciate it right away cuz he wants one of those smart watches. But I'll probably give it to him the same way I got it, when he graduates.
When I was a young child my parents told me when I learned how to tell time they would buy me a watch. Needless to say I was motivated and was given my first watch at age seven, in 1958 when time was told with analog watches. That watch was a prized possession.
Man! 😁 Thanks for the shoutout! Appreciate it. Your number 1 is spot on. You have some cool alternatives here that I’ve never seen. Thanks for sharing bud.
Most useful, and that is no faint praise. You start with criteria and then provide the relevant facts on each. I have tiny wrists and watches for adults rarely fit, so I decided to look at kid's watches. The options are cooler this century! Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
From experience…f91w, Vostok Scuba dude, Titanium eco drive Citizen (on offer) lorus full lume field watch, Superdry do some really cool designs and it was the first watch my boy bought himself. Seiko autos are above budget in the uk. Casio mrw-200 are bigger than 40mm but wear a lot smaller, cheap and loads of designs.
The Casio fw... Has been my first watch back in '84/85. I won't go deep into Swatch (Avg Joe disagrees with me😉) but it doesn't take any kind of beat or a dive in a pool. But Armitron was the brand featured in The Return Of Mission Impossible (1988/1990). There were many cool watches, in particular the diver's. Thanks for reading!
i was looking for a new casio and saw a casio on the thumbnail and I didn't see one i liked in the video but that last one is the same exact one i am wearing rn.
Very cool video. First time I’ve seen a video about kids watches. I agree with and guessed #1. My son , who is 11 yrs old) has 4 watches and the F91W is one of them.
Hey Josh what a terrific video, your criteria for watch selection is spot on, and your 10 recommendations are awesome with of course the Casio F91W as #1 🏆... BTW I have this watch as well as the featured Casio calculator watch and I love them 👍👏🙌 Thank you Josh for another great video. Have an awesome weekend my friend 👍 BTW - the torture test video you mentioned by Average Joe is excellent and also recommended everyone take a look 👍
Great choices mate, got my nephew a F91W and he really likes it, honestly though at his age hes far too reckless for anything more expensive but maybe one day he'll probably end up stealing mine.
I want to ask if the casio MDV-107 with the rubber band black dial is appropriate for a kid like me who is 14years old. I have a bigger wrist than average and it doesnt look very large but still I wanted to ask if it appropriate to wear it in public? BTW very good video!👏👏👏
Kids like color. That’s I’d put Parchie number one. Of course, I guess if you are thinking teenagers (the one’s in black hoodies who fear color) then the Times, Casio, Seiko’s might work.
thanks, buddy. bought my son one of those cheap spiderman watches from target. it was a mistake for sure. he loves spiderman (don't all kids? i dunno) but the whole thing sucks. this is JUST the list i was lookin for.
Might I add the original, Zisou Vostock round 37ml scuba dude, bulletproof auto diver, or the even more affordable Komanderski? Can't beat the Casio tho👍
My 10 year olds have watches just like these. They might have been OK with the cartoon character watches when they were 4 or 5 but this is spot on for my pair of 5th graders.

Water resistance is really important with the kiddos. Something like a submariner or black bay 58 would be on the larger size but cover all the bases.
😅👍 Thanks for watching.

Appreciate it brother! Thanks for making an appearance in this video! I'll be sure to send you your commission check by the end of the year! 😅

Beautiful picture of all the kids together, congratulations...!
They are a wonderful blessing from the Lord! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching Manus! Good point about Swatch! I didn't consider their durability! Missed that!
Casio Baby G all the way baby. It’s gotten all 3 of my kids through their pre-teens and are still going strong.
Great option! Thanks for watching! I hope you'll check out more of my content on my channel!
really well done and a great idea to compile a list such as this. Take care!

Great watches! I bought my 12 & 9 year old boys a 36mm Casio “W-93H” & a “W-94H” for about $20 each last year.
Very nice! Thanks for watching!
@@TheTownWatch I intend to get each of them an auto for high school graduation! It’ll probably be a “do anything” ~$500 Hamilton or Tissot.
just got my boys a red and blue Casio F108WH... great list though... will probably work my way through it in the months to come!
Fantastic video! A must watch (pun intended) for any parent or grandparent! Thanks Josh!
Thanks for watching Peter!

Awesome! Thanks for watching my friend!
Freestyle shark or shark mini. Don't see much coverage of them but hat tip to Chillin' wit' Watches for mentioning
Thanks for watching! I just learned about these watches and I think it was from one of Pete's videos!

Great video! I got the Casio for my daughter’s godson who went swimming with his previous “kids” watch and drowned it
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
Great video. Not many on the subject.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!

Glad to help! Thanks for watching! Hope you can find your son a good watch that will last!
wht watch were you wearing?
Best kids watch is PARCHIE PAL!!💕
Never heard of it!
im not a kid but i will 😂
🙏
How old before a kid should have a watch? Or is even a good idea.
Forgot Lorus existed.
Good question! The answer would probably be different for different parents but for me I would say around 5 or 6. Thanks for watching!
I almost ordered one after watching the video but then I found out it’s not water resistant
Yeah, many of the watches on this list have poor WR. Thanks for watching!
come on mate, the number 1 for kids is the elsa watch from frozen.................lol
😅
Might I add the original, Zisou Vostock round 37ml scuba dude, bulletproof auto diver, or the even more affordable Komanderski? Can't beat the Casio tho👍
Thanks for the suggestion!
Number one is waterproof, or else the rest does not matter. One bath and game over VTECH
lorus tank is watch for women
Choices not good, this is the best out there?
The best? I don't know, but this is the list I came up with! Thanks for watching!
Lasica
None of these were ‘kids’ watches. Youth or young adult maybe, but not kids.
My 10 year olds have watches just like these. They might have been OK with the cartoon character watches when they were 4 or 5 but this is spot on for my pair of 5th graders.
Killing me with the corny ass sound effects. Had to turn it off before minute 1.
😁 Thanks for watching for almost a minute!
