Glad the Burgman 400 is still going strong and despite the updates is essentially the scoot we all know and love. Your You Tube videos are legendary Mitch.
Thanks for posting, having a similar bike for some 4 years (Burgman 650) I always craved to see what's inside, but there was no need for disassembly, it required just the maintenance. Love your channel!
Hey , nice . I did a conversion in my relived kymco 50 cc which is now kinda cafe racer with some upgrades . Just finished it last week and it goes . Good. To see mr Bergma in your channel. Im a big fan of his too 👍👍👍
Beautiful, I would love the Burgman 400, redesign with minimum side covers so to hide all the cabling and have the sit installed somehow and ride it away, It's a beautiful frame.
Stripped down it looks like a great option for conversion into a Super Ruckus! (Wish Honda still made the 250cc Big Ruckus . . . was a very practical design.)
Hello Mitch, well done for dismantling and reassembling the 2022 Burgman 400 Can you tell me if the shiny plastic piece on the console below the ignition key is aimed from the inside or only clipped and then how to disassemble it without breaking anything?
This is sooooo cooool! I'm gonna watch this several times just to take it all in! Love the blue wheels; wish mine had them. And is that a cooling duct leading to the cvt?? 😍
Hey Mitch, would you recommend the burgman 400 for long touring with a passenger? I'm in the market after a maxi scooter with no more than a 400cc engine and I basically narrowed it down to Burgman 400, Honda ADV 350 and Yamaha Xmax 300 tech max? What would you choose confortwise for pilot and passenger between the three and why? My main concern about the Burgman 400 is the small storage space underneath the seat compared to the other two bikes, (I guess I'll have to install a Givi topcase) like I saw in one of your vids, otherwise I think it would be my no. 1 pick. Waiting for your feedback I'm wishing you best regards and keep up the good work, your videos are awesome man ! 👍 P.S Happy holidays and a Happy New Year ! 🎉
Happy new year to you!! Yeah newer burgman have less storage and narrower than older burgman, I am disappointed about that… mine is 07 and I still love it so much, more storages, passenger have floorboards, more room… but newer burgman is amazing! I recommend to go see each scooters and sit on them to see which suit you best 🙌🏼
Wow great work! Wondering if you might have the step by step DISassembly video, some parts are so hard to figure out! By the way, how would you undo stuck push rivets? I’ve these row of 4 that goes under the radiator and they’re totally jammed - I haven’t had the time to crack the lower leg shields open to try spray some lubricant into them yet.
Where is the color paint code located on my 2007 Burgman 400? Need to buy touchup paint but cannot find the color code. Paint looks metallic silver. Hope you have time to reply cause I am stuck. Note: I truly enjoy all your video's, very informative.
I’m considering buying Burgman 400 after few vespas gts 300. Im not into mechanics so I can’t get picture is this what we looking in this video good build or not? I know that Suzuki as a brand is bulletproof but never had a chance to own one. And I can’t decide between Burgman 400, Honda ADV350 and Yamaha Xmax 300. I’m planning to keep next scooter for a while (6-7 years cca 15-20.000 km) so I’m really looking for best reliability i can get for my money.
All of those are good ones... best way to decide which one to buy is look at scooters and sit on it see which is more comfortable and suit best for you
@@MitchsScooterStuff i have tested all and I decided to go with Suzuki (for now). Maybe is oldest of the bunch but it feels much better built bike. It has better suspension (especially rear) better brakes, more planted on faster corners, better wind protection, better engine sound, better plastics. And the price in my country is similar 9000 suzuki/yamaha 8000 honda. I have also tested BMW C400GT and except it is bit better on the brakes and bit better wind protection (what is easy fix) everything else is better on Suzuki for 1000 eur less and on top of it much better reliability score in favor of Suzuki. The only hesitation that I have for current Burgman is possible brand new Suzuki Burgman 400 for 2024 (no news yet) but anyway I’ll wait till December and then I’ll decide. Thank you for your advice.
Hey mitch need some advice please. Got a Honda Meteropolitan 2007 throttle brake lever on the handlebar its spring broke, got a new one yet it doesn't really seem to fit right, it matches the old spring, do you think this is just an original design flaw? If after I tune the brakes it doesn't spring back to the resting position I've thought of adding a straight compression spring to the brake lever down on the wheel to force it back into position.
You should not worry about that... it's not that difficult to work on ... I have a ton more maintenance videos coming on this model that would help you save a lot of money for maintenance labor at local shop
@Mitch's Scooter Stuff I see all the stuff coming out of the Phillipines. As a Vet, I lost my hearing and use of my left wrist; not shifting but also not losing the spark would be fun.
Was thinking to buy one and converted it to a naked off-road machine but looking on your video makes me realise there's a lot of stuff to be either removed or hidden in some way:/ Still might have a go, the guy's asking £350 so no biggie;)

A piece of Art. Just like all the other Mitch's videos on Burgman. Beautifully made. Real professional production. Thanks a lot Mitch.
Wow, thank you!
Incredible! What a great reference video. Thanks Mitch!
Glad you liked it!

😄🙌🏼❤️
I had one too,in manual mode you could leave everyone standing at the traffic lights.I changed the windscreen for a Givi which was wider & taller.
super clean, nothing like a clean machine

That seems interesting, I am building similar stuff. Do you have any pics or videos of that Kymco?
@@Markko1986 i have pictures yes

It's a beautiful frame.
I stripped a YP250 down to make a dune bike type thing and was amazed at how beefy all the rails and frame were.
Stripped down it looks like a great option for conversion into a Super Ruckus! (Wish Honda still made the 250cc Big Ruckus . . . was a very practical design.)
Oh yeah!
This is so awesome indeed beautiful camera 📷 work 😀
thank you man!
Great Job, nice to see whats under the hood!
😄👍🏼👍🏼
Very useful to see how things look and what to expect before I dig into mine.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for doing this!
My pleasure!
Now that was interesting 👍🏻 excellent stuff 🥳
Thanks for the visit
As pretty as they are with all their plastic in place, a naked Suzuki Burgman isn't going to win any beauty contests.
Very clean Mitch! 💪👍
so nice. thanks
😄🤙🏼
Love both of you from Thai Burgman400 fan club❤
😄🙏🏼🙌🏼
super cool video.... just curious but what is that silver filler cap near the handlebars under the fairing for?
Radiator Coolant, better late than never for a comment?
appreciate this video very much, such very helpful! thanks
You're very welcome!

Hello Mitch. Do you have a video on replacing exhaust system on 2007 Burgman AN400?
Hey Bill, yes I have that video on my channel :)
@MitchsScooterStuff thank you Mitch! Really enjoy your RUclips videos! Best regards, Bill
Nice...👊🏻...
Hello. Where can I find side wind breaker guards on your burgman 400 2007 model engine? Can you link? Thanks bro.
Hey, I got them over 15 years ago I forgot where I got them from... it was very hard to find
Hi Mitch, should I have any concerns or worries about buying a 2020 Burgman - just worried about reliability and maintenance costs?

Nada mejor que desarmar una moto cuando uno se aburre 😢😢😢
To me being a welder these welds look pretty weak but I guess the powder coat covers a lot and the buyer doesn't get to see most of them
A Burgman 650 naked scoot would be fun.
I want to do that ! 😂

I See, There's More Water Proofing,, Every time it Rained on the Older Models, Lots of Problems...

All the plastic off and still can't get to the valve cover.
Check out my older burgman video, need to take air filter box out and it's there to reach
E Molto Complesso 🤔 E Ben Fatto 🤔 Niente Da Dire.....
