Wow...I liked your example and video a lot...I saw an another way to do (I made one) at Fine Woodworking Magazine is put an adjustable fence at 90⁰ position at the end of jig and add a nail...so you just made a hole (2.5 mm drill bit) at the center of leg end and turn it until are four sides has the same tapered cut.
