Thank you for the valuable information about renting a car, I was about to book online for 2 days and 17 hours for 300 MYR but thanks to your video I just dropped the idea of online booking, Now I am thinking of bargaining at Langkawi airport with agents. One quick question: My Indian Licence got expired, can I use my passport to rent the car?
No you should have license to rent a car
You have mentioned rent a car outside. What do you mean by outside. Is it from the airport itself or outside the airport. Please specify the place from where to rent a car
Just step inside The Langkawi Island. You will find many people inside or outside the airport and they will give you different offer.
I will suggest you to book from Pantai Cenang area.
You can find different travel agents there wo are renting the car too
How about renting from airport
Secondly if God Forbid any accident happened . Minor one
Directly from Airport you will get a bit expensive. I will suggest you to take grab from AirPort and go to Pantai Cenang. From there you can rent car, there will be many car rental shops.
Because of accident you have to take with car owners.
I have Pakistan driving licesnse . Do i need international driving license or they dont bother ? Will it be a problem if i drive for 3 days without a international license ?
There will be no issues. But if you can apply for international license than there is no harm to have it
