It’s amazing indeed. Other nice thing Ash does in his videos: even after his channel became well known, he still spends time describing presentation, atomizer, batch code, etc when reviewing a fragrance. Other RUclipsrs completely ignore that and their reviews sometimes feel rushed.

If you haven't done a video on room 1015 electric wood EDP, I would highly recommend. This is one of the most unique and stand out fragrances that I have smelled. Completely different than the typical ones that are always being talked about.
Dolce gabbana light blue (original) got me most compliments

Bomb list Ash I had a few disagreement moments with your choices, IPO you gave several scents that smelled the same...I didn't see Dylan Blue for Versace

Ok IMO this may be one of the best videos going on men’s fragrances . As so many use the same ingredients and many viewers don’t want to hear that . Fragrances are more then the some of their parts . But that’s just me .

I discovered aqua discovered gio in my early 20s, I'm turning 40 this year and still love it.
Bentley Silverlake is one of the most elegantly masculine scents out there! Also, dont sleep on Tumi! Tumi Unwind and Atlas are 🔥🔥🔥.

D&G K EDP is an underrated fragrance. For me, the fig nectar is what stands out and makes it unique. Very nice scent profile.
And it's nice to see original vintage picks from the mid 1990's are still relevant. Hello L'eau D'issey by Issey Miyake! Great fragrance.

Haven't tried K EDP, but the EDT is just boring and generic imho. I checked Fragantica and quite a lot of people are talking about the smell of dill in the EDP. I am scared to try it now... 😂

I cant stand K edp or leau Disney at all. I had both of those & gave away decants & sold them off. Some fragrances will grow on u with time but not those 2. Terrible frags imo.

I think Hugo Boss the Scent goes largely unnoticed and I feel it's very underrated. I really like it. I would reach for it over Sauvage most days.

Issey miyake ~ l'eau D'issey pour home (every time I wear it, Instant flashback to when I was a kid in the 90's when my pops smoked cigarettes and wore l'eau D'issey pour home)
Tho a fresh scent, I associate the smell of it to the memory I have when my dad smoked and wore leather. So I love this scent in not cold but cool weather and love to smoke a cigarette to get the whole effect that holds such vivid memories. Thanks Ash!
Pure Malt was the ultimate head turner for me
ASH, kind of on topic, of all the weird stuff Walmart carries, I saw a tag for the 3.4oz bottle of Versace Eros EDT for like $68 yesterday at our store. Sold out but the price caught my eye so I read the tag description. They also now have Azzaro Wanted 3.4oz. No Wanted by Night or The Most Wanted, but at least it shows they're trying to get some nicer stuff.
their online prices were actually steals for black friday and cyber monday too with all the designer fragrances you could want

I’m still trying to find a fragrance that is close to aqua dia parma colonia but with better performance. That’s the only thing preventing me from buying ADP Colonia tbh. I tried Beau du Jour and others that are considered similar, but I don’t think they are that close.
ADG Colonia has an amazing “out of the shower” smell that is completely versatile and it’s relatively unique nowadays due to its quality (imho).

For me Y Live gets the most complements from the YSL Y range, and Halloween Man Shot gets slightly more complements than X in my experience. Plus Gentlemen Reserve Privee is out now and so far I've gotten quite a few complements, so it may take the originals Gentlemen EDP's spot in terms of complements, but everything else you chose for this list I agree with

A fragrance thats really caught my eye as of late is Acqua di go PROFONDO .. its super clean and fresh like the ocean

Question to all: I currently have issues with dry skin and rash from applying my frags on my neck area. After an area becomes dry I then spray to a lower area for a while, I find I need to apply moisturizer beforehand now... anyone else? Does my head in!
Do this with some niche brands
As basic as it is Dolge Gabbana Light Blue Intense gets me compliments every single time I wear it. Something about that scent women love.
Yep so does the original light blue
Up close it’s pretty harsh but in the air, it really works and smells incredible.

Profondo is definitely the biggest adg compliment puller
For the majority of these that I own or experience with I can’t really disagree except maybe a couple but it’s splitting hairs but ime allure homme sport eau extreme has vastly overshadowed the original for me women just love it I knew I was on to something with it when my wife who couldn’t care less about this kind of stuff and knows very little about any of it had to know what it was and how much she loves when I wear it. It’s bright and creamy at the same time and performs better than the original as well, and Salvatore Ferragamo for me has been acqua essenziale blue anybody who asks me about affordable blue fragrances that and mission wave have always been my suggestion. For Versace I’ve had the best luck with Dylan blue and Signature and with Armani it would be any of the code line and any flanker of acqua di gio. Like you stated most of these would t be the favorites because the longer you’ve been in the hobby the more you like polarizing scents but like you know crowd pleasers can be boring but are much better at getting compliments
I've been wearing Eros for a year - not only I think it's overhyped and average smelling but I'm yet to receive a single compliment XD

I have an opportunity to get Boss Bottled Intense, both EDP and EDT. What should I pick from the two? Is there a difference in the profile of the scent? Please help, after all you are the main reason I'm in this rabbit hole :D
P.S. I also have found UltraRed at the equivalent of $38, not sure how legit it is. Is it worth the risk ?
…i’ll add my two scents…BB Intense is an Edp, and then there is also BB Eau de Parfum…BB Intense is a more concentrated more forward stronger version of the OG BB (#6)…BB Eau de Parfum is a softer slightly sweeter fragrance containing recognizable DNA of original with velvet texture…

…i can only say Ani is fantastic…never sampled MR…Ani complex rich floral spicy vanilla almost thick in texture…1spray plenty fall winter perhaps cool rainy spring…worth the $ IMO…
you'll probably never read this, but have you or has anyone else heard of the brand Intimacy? I'm on my 4th bottle of their Urban (Eau de Parfum) I own quite a collection (around 10 designers) but this one is the cheapest and by far the most complimented for me personally...
Torn between EDT and EDP with Bleu de Chanel and admittedly I've never owned a bottle before despite everything else I have. Honestly haven't owned many blue frags at all. What do you guys think are the differences between BDC current edt and edp?? Any suggestions?
People would have different opinion on that. I have both i think edt is closer to blue frag. Edp is great but its a bit more sweet and powdery and maybe a bit feminine too. I also asked girls which one they like better and it was mostly edt too if u care. I personally prefer edp but i go for edt more often because edp needs frequent reapply😂😂 edt stays longer
If you haven't had any blue frags before i would suggest the EDT but personally for me i prefer the EDP as it works better on my skin than the EDT as well EDP has a more mature feel to me

Edp is a lot more likable and less generic. I find the edt more basic and simple while the edp has tons of depth and smells richer, creamier, fresher and lasts longer. The parfum is my fav from the line but the edp will do best in the heat while still keeping the creaminess that the parfum has
I really want to add a blue fragrance but I keep debating what to get. Considering BDC or YLive. I would like something not as mainstream and have been thinking of K EDP. Anyone have any slept on blues to recommend?

Awesome list👌🏽 Gucci Guilty is a pretty boring fragrance though. Gucci Guilty Black on the other hand is a banger🔥 maybe not to your typical fraghead or niche snob, but to the average Joe it’s beautiful👌🏽 I was rocking that one when it first came out. I was fresh out of high school and I got a lot of compliments from that one

Ahhh I remember Jeremy’s “Compliment Godz” video, that was when people actually listened to the clown. Basically Invictus, ADG Profumo, JPG Ultra Male and of course YSL LNDL.

Allure Homme, The One...I really wonder why these highly acclaimed scents keep getting discontinued. Are they actually nice, or just overly hyped by influencers? Is that why it's not selling and gets discontinued?
