My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay with Sotris at his house in Kalamata during the off season. We had him all to ourselves Muahaha. He is a wonderful man as is his son Agulos who is an actor in the Kalamata theater.
We were traveling all over Europe, but ended up extending our stay in Kalmata, because this was truly the best experience we had ever been on in all our travels.
I urge you all to go and enjoy his farm and his company. Safe travels!

This man not only created a small village but he created a place to entertain all. I think he started one way and ended up with so much more then he wished for. Resulting in his wishes coming true just slightly different then he imagined
Some of us, envelope oneself or envelopes immediate family and there are the few who open their arms and say I’ll take care of all of you. Those are the souls who deserve a day of pampering.

When I was young I went to the island of Lesbos to visit my grand parents. I wanted to take a shower and my grand father had a ceramic type (like an adobe looking ) water heater . The water heater worked with one log and some kindle, you light it up ,and you would have hot water, and am guessing for three days or more. I thought wow a water heater without electricity ,to me it was unique.
I love the showers my inlaws have in Mexico city, they are big solar containers on there roof tops. Omg the water is so hot. When I visited my mother in law in amacabro Mexico we heated up water with an electric element in a 5 gallon bucket it was awesome. I took a good shower and washed my hair everyday with less than 2 gallons of warm water. I grew up washing in a tub . I love living basic.
So amazing. And he seems so happy. His smile and energy made me smile during the video.
We need more beautifully spirited people like this man in the world! If everyone tried to feel a fraction of the way he does we could soon be on our way to being on the right track! I LOVE to see other people recognize the beauty of this planet rather than only focusing on all of the negative and ugly surrounding us on a daily basis... 💜🙏💜

Definitely some modern philosopher vibes right there. I've met a lot of people like him on the unexplored Greek countryside. Greece is so much more than it's beautiful islands and people are so welcoming and good natured.

voluntary help. He did it very
economically. You do not need
much money for a project like
this. It was built by people who
had love in their hearts. Not much
is needed to make one happy
and content in life. There is a
saying in English that 'Money
is the Root of all Evil.
Treehouses are notorious for being killed by the structure because the pressure, crushed roots, lack of moisture and nutrients, and holes through living wood is too destructive.
