I took a workshop at Sunray's almost 25 years ago. It was only a week, but being in that magical place and having the chance to soak up some of Sunray's way of living shaped my way of thinking in so many lasting ways. It's great to see the Garden House completed, and to know that my hands and feet helped add a little earth to those walls. I think often of my experience there, and I'm truly grateful for it all. Thank you for sparking such great memories.

I thought that was Sunray Kelly!!! I love him and found him on Mick’s tv show and enjoyed each time he was featured. I have always wanted to meet both men as they (as well as their other friends) inspired my awakening! If I could thank them in person I would so I’ll just say it here as I no longer live in Washington State. Thank you Sunray for your genius, for your crazy, and most of all for inspiring me to achieve this awakening and to let out my crazy genius! 💋💕

James Netska there are quite a few houses on that property. He has transformed machines that were meant for one thing into machines that have piping through the floor that run hot water during the winter to keep the house warm just by heating the floor plus there's a wood stove that's doing it but it wasn't really meant for that but he turned it into that plus it's gorgeous because it's this old machine. I'm trying to remember what it was there's a whole show on him and he lives here in Washington State. anyway each house is unique and some are much more I don't even know how to explain it but some are much more like regular houses but he has a way of taking things and repurposing them that is just amazing so you can look at them as a stoner. But he really truly is an artist and he lives life the way that he wants to. If it's not your way that's fine but it's his way and that's how life is meant to be. I'm jealous I wish I was as happy as him he walks around barefooted picking berries for breakfast

Heated flooring using hot water pipes is how they do it in Asia. A hot water heater and pump with plumbing could do it. It's cozy and efficient unless it's electrically heated which in that case, you'll freeze on a $500 electric bill. They use oil or coal as fuel over there, but it could be done with solar to warm the water and generate electric. We could also split water for energy, but that creates a new problem. Water Depletion...
+Scott Bixler that type of heating~ through pipes laid under your floors is called radiant floor heating and unless I'm having a case of the Mandela Effect, it was invented by the Greeks. Personally I'm thinking why really heat any other way, especially in colder climates. It can be cheaper than any other method if approached with research into all options. Plus the water is channeled through normal water pipes so can still be run to kitchen, laundry or bathroom for use. Why aren't more houses if not then corporate/office buildings. Since it isn't hot air blowing through, all those drying-up issues we get in winter would be irrelevant! Come on people, get with the times! We have so many options we can use now that not trying them, seeing if things you dream could be built. Hell, we got aircrete, so many passive ways to do the work you pay others to do, and can you honestly say our garbage couldn't be looked after a million times better? Or hey, how about my biggest pet pieve? the trillions of tons of plastic waste breaking into smaller pieces as it creates the worst, most ignored stab in the back to Mother Nature. The globe has known about this horrific environmental degradation ever. Since plastic never breaks down into it's different chemicals, no no. It just becomes smaller pieces of plastic. Even microscopic pieces have been found literally clogging the inside of animals cells to the point of cellular collapse due to essentially cellular suffocation when so much plastic fills the cells and the original tenants cannot move around to do their jobs. This is seen across the board in I assume all species that live at any time in the Pacific. So that incl. passing whales, turtles, and then you've got it transferring to the animals that eat the front line victims. Guess that includes us as well? Sure as hell doesn't say that on any Captain Hyliner product far as I recall. I really don't understand why not one country, agency, or entity has at least tried to get the tons of the plastic? Are you telling me, since it is a RECYCLABLE substance, someone could hypothetically make some cash AND help save the planet. Well, what's left of her.

That guy is absolutely brilliant and extremely talented!!! In my younger years I used to sit down and design houses. I'd incorporate many odd ball ideas but none of them ever got built. I was always too poor to make it happen. Sometimes life is like that. So watching this guy and seeing all he's built and remembering my personal desires with building and the ecosystems he's created is like he's fulfilled my dreams for me since I couldn't do it!!! I don't know which structure I love the most!!! Just down right awesome. Thank you for filming this and thanks for building them as well.
