I love the way the cars kept changing positions with every gear change in the first roll race. These old school cars are so much more entertaining to watch than the modern stuff. I don't care if they're slower.
THIS is the sort of stuff people want to see, big power manual old school cars that you have to drive, sound ace, and owners that are absolute geezers with love for each others cars. I don’t think there’s many people that would disagree with that either 👌🏼

I've met Robert before, I did some coding work on his previous MK4 Golf R32 and I repaired the MK3 Golf instrument cluster and set the mileage on it for the install into this awesome R30T MK2 Golf. Great to see him driving the wheels off it, hoping to see it evolve even more. That VR6 sound!

I feel 18 again watching these two! My series 2 1.9 converted 90 spec would have smoked them though lol , the 90s were fkn awesome. I was working in belgium for a year when i was 18 and had a 4x4 calibra turbo as a company car that i superchipped and it was wicked back them. Props to both guy’s 👏🏴👍🏻

Reckon the nova engine is shifting so far in the engine bay that the gear linkage goes out of alignment. Im sure one of my cars did it with about +80% power over standard. Great fun to watch these two. Crazy cars and drivers.
Looks I give to the nova, noise I give to the golf, the performance spoke for it's self but both the drivers are such a set of legends. Proper car guys humble and enjoying the fact they both appreciate each other and the fun of competition. I really enjoyed this one
I love that Golf more every time it shows up on the channel and Robert makes a good show. The Corsa, I mean, Nova :D is great as well, such a shame it had that gearbox issue, but the rolls were an absolute blast to watch. Hope it will be back!
