    What you describe here is pretty much my experience as well. But still there are doctors warning of fungal infections, ligaments becoming lax, plantar fascia weakening, arches collapsing, overpronation and a lot of infected wounds and parasites. That's just a list of the things I heard in one doctor's reaction video recently but ... I walk barefoot for decades and the effects I experienced are: Stronger muscles, better circulation, higher arches, improved awareness, no more achilles, knee and back pain. I guess I'm doing the right thing after all, besides what all the alarmist podiatrists and doctors say who have zero experience but see a lot of damaged feet.

      Dear @@anyaormroddavis ... I know more than 100 health benefits of walking barefoot, but only 0 (zero) for walking in shoes. Or maybe just for fashion. The fashion to be sad and sick...

    As being an Indian having grown up in India in 1980s & 1990s, walking barefoot at home is normal thing. But after 1st 3 half marathons I ran (without amy practice) in normal sneekers or nikes/adidas, I switched to barefoot style merrell (road glove and trail glove) to run next 2 of half marathons without knee issue. Then i had almost left barefoot style shoes for 2-3 years before I developed a foot injury that needed leg in cast and finally got rectified using just crape bandage. Theni went all out for Vibram Five Fingers and another Indian poclet friendly pair if light cushioned wide toe box shoe - I use both if them now mostly and sometime high neck shoes for office.
    With barrefoot style ones I cured my foot problem and yes, it is good for knee and back health.
    When running in those shoes, I can run straight 10-20 km without practice (without taking a step walking). But with other shoes I haven't been able to run for.l 6-7 kmwithout taking a step walking ever.
    With normal shoes I get sore thigh muscles after longer runs, but with barefoot style shoes, only feel calf muscles getting sore and getting stronger.

    Great video. I go barefoot quite a lot and I enjoy the freedom of not wearing shoes. Do you go barefoot regularly?
