I’m laughing my old guy (......) off. I’ve listened to almost all of her videos and tell myself “on your best day you couldn’t keep up with her”. That “best day” was in the 60s to late 70s. Now FINALLY there’s this one I could have been real close up to about 2:52 to 2:55ish because this album was one of the few I had (actually I ripped em off my older brother) when I was in high school. From there on though I could have commenced holding my own but it’s still hilarious to me to realize through a bunch of Kalonica’s videos; how bad I must have been. But my kit was first rate!- (for its time).
Great cover of this classic track, Kalonica 🤩✨ I'm sorry I'm a bit late, but the smoke came out of the laptop I was using, so I'm slowly catching up on a slightly flaky replacement, while my new, powerful PC gets built. I have high expectations of the audio quality (at last) so I'll probably be going back over a lot of material to get the benefit of that. Laptop speakers leave a lot to be desired if (like me) you like to feel the music - and especially the low frequencies from drumming.
Great cover! To me the Stones always drag a bit and I've read that CHarlie Watts does it on purpose. It's his style to go slightly behind the beat. You made the song move really well. Very creative drumming all the way! Go Kalonica!!!
Charlie would play behind the beat and Bill would play ahead of the beat. Charlie would follow Keith rather than play with Bill and then you would get the famous Rolling Stone Train Wreck.🥁
