I love Alford when he sings mid to low range, simply beautiful and spectacular, love his voice there but he turns into a screaming mouse when he... Screams. Priest's 70s and early 80s stuff is by far their best imo.
My personal belief is that heavy metal belongs to clubs, not stadiums. The smell of sweat, the head to bursting from the riot, a little drunk ... it's heavy metal.. This video is proof of that.
Can't believe I forgot Michael Kiske!! His Vocals on Helloween's Keeper of the seven keys part II is probably the best metal performance ever.. Just an insane set of pipes. If you like these three singers you will love that album!
