"Bruce has been digging in his garden again" LOL. I bet he was, in fact, digging in his garden. And I'm sure it's the best fucking garden in the entire UK. That guy can do anything, really.
WOW! News reported Police responded to a massive shattering of glass in a 3 block radius of this performance due to the incredible high pitch notes and mid range power provided by this performance!
This is perfect. It's like Rob called up Bruce and Geoff and was like,"Hey guys, do you want to make the best thing ever real quick?" And they were like, "Yeah, we're down to make the best thing ever real quick."
I love how Geoff wasn't even trying and still held his own with Rob and Bruce on that tiny stage! It doesn't get any better than the best three metal voices on the same stage! 🤘🤘
My dad first introduced me to metal when I was 9/10 years old. Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Judas Priest were my first 3 bands I’ve ever listened to. I have not turned back. Metal is my life. I stumbled upon this video a while back ago and I still come to rewatch it as my childhood just, comes together. Absolutely incredible.
Wow. Bruce and Rob are inarguably two of the greatest metal frontmen of all time, and Geoff sounds great here as well and holds his own. Simply awesome!
I wish the sound quality is better. But fact is, this is probably the best metal trio in the history of human kind! Three legends on stage, amazing! \m/
Halford is basically in retirement, Bruce is still badass, and Geoff is a shadow of his former self. I would like to have seen these three in their prime do this song. Geoff would have killed it.
I heard that they shattered windows from two blocks away when they hit that high note. That's a whole hell of a lot of vocal power. All three have amazing vocals. Awesome song.
All three of them have some of the most genuine and iconic stage presences ever... Except bruce is the only one that still has the moves, rob and geoff got stiff...
What a perfect match! No matter what has happened in recent times with Tate, you cannot deny he is up there with the rest when it comes to brilliant voices!
And let's say it... to unite Geoff Tate and Dickinson to get together is an ambitious but an amazing thing! Lucky were the ones who saw it live! Well done u all
@Fang Face Who cares..Maiden or Priest dont have an album like "The Warning"..So he deserves all the glory..Not to mention their first self titled and also "Operation Mindrime"....!!!

Bruce, the best metal frontman ever; three iconic singers, my favourites of the bunch Geoff and Bruce. I love Alford when he sings mid to low range, simply beautiful and spectacular, love his voice there but he turns into a screaming mouse when he... Screams. Priest's 70s and early 80s stuff is by far their best imo.
if you have good speakers, you can plainly hear Geoff has the more power out of the 3 in this performance, he does the high harmony little bit on the bring you to your knees line or whatever, he's showing a little more control wile the other 2 are just having a blast with it and are pretty relaxed about it because they perform it all of the time with various artist (rock singers) since it's their baby , but man this is the best version of this I've seen EVER!, wish I could find a proper recording of these 3 doing this, my personal 3 favorite Rock/Metal singers of all time. this clip kicks so much ass I keep checking it out on a regular basis............. Rich Vee So I just had the pleasure of seeing/hearing this for the first time, and have been going thru reading all the comments, and I have to say, I couldn't agree more with your post. All 3 are gods, but Geoff's voice is different....beautifully powerful. I have always loved his music. One of my top 5 favorites of altime. I love Maiden and Priest, too, but Queensryche touched my soul. Or should I say Geoff Tate did with that voice. Anyway, I just wanted to say something since everyone seemed to think Tate was the underdog in the trio. Glad to know I'm not the only one that appreciates his vocals. Peace.
Amazing watching this video. Bruce Dickinson clearly outperforms the others, though just barely on Rob Halford. He had to hold himself back from stealing the stage from the other two. Poor Geoff looked lost. I'm not sure why he was there. Wasn't it just Bruce and Rob who composed this song? Either way, awesome. Bruce and Rob are true legends.
GT is an awesome vocalist too but not in the same legend status. Bruce & Rob are probably the reason he's a singer so he must have been humbled and nervous but he's a real muso. Maiden were/are big Queensryche fans cos they asked them to tour with them back in the 80's
tate was the better voice by far of the 3 in this song.. because he stood there and let the other guys...mostly dickinson... jump around, that makes him less of a singer? ridiculous
With all due respect, Bruce Dickinson didn't out perform anyone here. He is one of the greatest singers in metal and I give him all the props in the world. But in my opinion he is often annoying in live situations. He looks like a child that is dying to be noticed and can't stand still for even a second in this video. At least he's not " improvising" or over singing his vocal here, something he also tends to do. The best I've ever seen Bruce live is on the Hammersmith concert number of the beast tour. That is a great one he is spot on.
How did that stage not collapse under the weight of so much metal?
Made me laugh out loud. People on the train think I'm insane 😆
Just perfect!!!
Haha nice comment mate
Because there was the right amount of metal
A black hole was almost born with such weight!
Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, Geoff Tate truly gods.. just Dio is missing ...

I am sad...
And Kevin DuBrow

You said it all dude! Dio is the best heavy metal singer of all time in my opinion.
dio and kiske
Those three guys can take down the world with their great voices, only Dio missed there.
No kidding \m/
OMG dio with them would be amazing
Midnight - Crimson Glory
Blacksamurai01 Also Kiske
Blacksamurai01 Dio, Cornell, Townshend
Bruce needs a bigger stage. You can really see that he has the urge to run around all over the place :)

The Brave New World tour was insane. Maiden/Ryche/Halford. Amazing night of metal.
Totally! I saw them when they played Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountainview, CA. I may have nutted a little when that tour was announced, lol.

It would have been amazing if we had a 1977 version of Rob, a 1984 version of Geoff and a 1982 version of Bruce singing this.

StartabandRoxy Hehe, yeah. Except if you've heard D's latest version he tries to do a Chuck Billy thing and almost sounds like Chris Barnes, ROFL.
