Hey Olly that’s beautifully put together mate - really heart felt, genuine and spot on!
Like everything in life ‘balance (and moderating balance)’ is important in every aspect of life.
I think it’s crucial that individuals remember that: ‘moderating balance and anything in your life is at the mere control of your own fingertips. In other words you are responsible for your life as your fingertips control the dials to everything surrounding your life. If you considered your life an engineering mixing board full of this little ‘dials’ - you are the one that’s in control of how high this particular volumes will be - you’re the engineer of your own life. - I loved using this analogy in my past uni assignments and resonate with it passionately - think about it… while we have outside influences thrown onto our lives that are largely beyond our control - the ONLY’ one thing that you truly have control over is yourself (your dials on that engineering board of you) - somebody or something can flick those dials out of whack but it’s ultimately you that has the control to adjust the dials accordingly (dials: anger, frustration, love, hate, work, kids, friends, wives, husbands, training, happiness, etc…).
Remember guys, if you don’t like something or alternatively do like something = the warrior way is that ‘YOU’ control your own dials (and your dials are a reflection of you - it also affects your relationships as Olly is saying)… you can either fall victim to someone else flicking your volume dials to ‘too high or out of whack’ - or ‘YOU’ can be ‘RESPONSIBLE’ for yourself and always take control and maintain control of your own dials = this will ensure that you never fall into a victim mindset for too long - you will essentially after time of this repeated good habit establish your ‘way of the warrior’ which leads to a better happier life for you.
In turn this type of mindset leads to better ‘external’ relationships for you as Olly has beautifully presented. 👊
Good on you Olly, that’s a really nice video mate - I’m sure it will help people
